It takes ruffly 5 months to finish all training. If you decide to go lease. SAVE EVERY PENNY YOU CAN. you have to buy loadlocks chains. Detention stamp. Abloy locks.. A lot of stuff to buy. And several classes to take. Lease is where the money is at. During your training period. SAVE EVERY PENNY YOU CAN. My wife and I saved 3 thousand dollars. And was able to buy. Pretty much everything straight out.
I tell everyone dont just jump into a lease. Go company for at least a year. Learn what you can and how to do it. Then go lease. I see people fail because they dont learn the in and out first. What can be done and what cant be.
You can lease a truck right after you've completed your 30000 miles with your trainer. That is if you're a new driver. Usually, it takes people a day to a week to get their truck. Of course this is all depending on of course if you want it used, new or custom. As regards experienced drivers, I think the leasing process will take 2 days to 1 week as well.
