We weren't really sure what toe xpecet when we decided to visit this zoo. We enjoyed how many animals there were and how surprisingly big it was. We enjoyed seeing all the animals and how clean and well kept the zoo was. We recommend it to everyone. Feeding the giraffes was a very awesome experience. Wish we could've gotten more lettuce but it was nice anyways.

This zoo is small but mighty! I am always impressed with the great layout, nice enclosures, and animal variety this zoo offers. You can spend several hours here easily. Great for families or a fun date! My favorite area is Elm Creek Backyard, featuring native Texas wildlife. Definitely one of the gems Abilene has to offer!

Very nice employees. Fast services. Clean park. Definitely family friendly with good children interactions. When feeding the giraffes, they give direct instructions. The only problem we ran into was when we brought $10 tickets but all the birds but a select few were not in the zoo due to the bird flu. So that was upsetting since they didn’t have that anywhere.

Nice zoo and the animals looks good. The best part of the day was feeding the giraffes. My daughter enjoyed it very much. It is not very big zoo. So you can see all the animals in about two hours.

Um... do you want to die? Because that's how you die!
For 12.00 each person you can feed the giraffes get a handful of leaves to feed the giraffes, And also for your $12 you get to tokens one is for the Carousel and when is for the train so it's for three things for12.00 for each.I know it's better to do the $12 package because to feed the giraffes is is 5dollars and there's other charge to go in if you do the 12 dollars it's to go in plus the 3things.
They're still required after the order was lifted, as some of the animals can contract Covid as well, and it can be deadlier for them.
Non electric so make sure to bring someone to push.
We eat lunch here all the time.... Granted I feel a little bad watching birds while eating a bucket of chicken. But hey ce la ví.
Are you asking if I have ticket's?
It's worth it though, especially if you have kid's and how they enjoy it. It's an expensive upkeep and donation's are always appreciated.
Admission is very reasonable at $8.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, $5.50 for children ages 3-12 years old. Children under 3 years of age are free.
3 and under is free, 4 - 12 is $5.50
It is paved, but I've never seen anyone doing so. Plus there are indoor exhibits. I wouldn't think it is a good idea.
No.
It's not a stroller. It's a double wagon but you can absolutely place a car seat into it.
So long as the dog is behaving and staying on task, you should have no problems being able to take the service animal in. Paperwork is not required and they are actually not allowed to ask.
Outside food and drinks are allowed.
Yes, the Zoo is open today. You can purchase tickets at the gate.
Hello, it appears so, this is from their website: OPEN DAILY Monday – Sunday 9 am to 5 pm Gates Close at 4 pm Hope this helps
They don't put them away, but they provide a way for them to go inside and outside on their own free will.

There are several different packages. We had one for a couple of years. I think it was around $75.00. It all depends on how many people.
Admission: $8.00 for Adults (ages 13-59) $7.00 for Seniors (ages 60+) $5.50 for children (ages 3-12) Children under 3 free!
Definitely got our $8 out of it, go when they're feeding the giraffes and bring a few extra bucks to buy food. You can feed them by hand and totally kid friendly.
