Is there any place to kennel a small dog at the zoo while we visit the zoo

I'd be happy to dog sit at the nearby park, and I'm sure there are dog walkers that would do same for small fee

There is not. The Abilene Zoo is on the basic end of the scale, service animals are the only externals allowed in.

No they dont allow pets. Im not sure if there is a boarding facility close by in Abilene but the zoo doesn't have a kennel

I don't think so. There is a dog park close, but I don't think you can leave your pet there and go to zoo.
