Great service, nice atmosphere. Ordered ribs, chopped brisket, and sausage. Sides of potato salad and green beans. Price was good. Brisket and potato salad was great! The ribs were decent, but was really disappointed in the green beans and sausage. The green beans came out completely plain like they were just dumped out of a can by themselves with nothing added. Even lower end restaurants add something to season up the beans a bit. The sausage was the real disappointment, very tough and tasteless. Gave a few of my friends at the table a couple pieces without saying anything, and they just kind of stared and said "that sausage is pretty bad". According to reviews, they have amazing steak, so I should probably try that sometime, but for everything else I'll continue going to a different place.

A very large portion of food for what you pay here. I tried the bbq combo plate with brisket, sausage, ribs, potato salad, and cole slaw. They give you corn bread and slices of fresh bread before the meal, too. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, as well. They were pretty busy, but I still didn't have to wait long for anything. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

It was good. Decent portion size. I had the Brisket plate. It came with two sides. I chose pinto beans which were a little soft but tasted good. And the potato salad which was creamy which is not my style. It was okay. My wife had the Brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries. She said it was fine. Staff was friendly enough.

Decided to try out this out of my way BBQ restaurant, man was that the best decision ever! I got the smallest ribeye and came out of there so stuffed! Maybe one day I'll come and try the 2 inch ribeye! One of the best steaks I've ever had. I will be coming here anytime I'm in Abilene! The cornbread and bread were both fantastic!!! Great food and a great value for your $.
