The Oktoberfest is an event that you should experience at least once in your life, if not every year. The food is great and there are so many choices that everyone will be happy. There is a huge Kindergarten for the kids to play, and lots of craft booths, heritage point of interest, and bands for the adults. Oh, did I mention the beer?

Mount Angel knows how to do Octoberfest. Free to access all the street food and smaller beer courts. Fee to enter beer halls where bands play. Bring a tent or RV and you can stay overnight within walking distance for a few dollars and enjoy lots of good Oregon beer until late, then get up the next morning and have apple cake for breakfast.

I will do my best to go every year. It's so fun, and is you camp it can get a bit wild. That said, it's still super kid friendly with a lot of stuff for both kids and parents. Parking can be rough though, so prepare for that.

An excellent place to come to. If you have kid there are events and activities for the children. The evening is when the adults come to play. The venture is the entire city (town) and police presence is everywhere. Police from all of the Clackamas, Lane, Marion and Yamhill counties patrol the Festival. (Police Officers in Oregon are police Officers in all jurisdictions). It a safe place to and enjoy the music, brats, and beer. All monies provided to the food vendors is non profit.

Yes, Sept 16-19, 2021. The theme: the Joy of Being Together Again!
Yes, we had so many events the setting on our web page had to be adjusted to show them all. They should be viewable now. Sorry for any confusion
September 15-18, 2022. Lots more information at www.oktoberfest.org.
Darren’s answer is pretty thorough. Thanks Darren
Chris, you need to contact the vendor who operates the lots. Check the web page www.Oktoberfest.Org and go to the park tab/RV and camping tab. The Red Lot managers can assist you.
We will be following the requirements for masking indoor and out.
right now... and of course subject to change... the Governor has mandated masks indoor and out for gatherings.
Yes, just outside the Weingarten on Garfield St.
Pets are certainly welcome at Oktoberfest. Pets are allowed on leash. However, they are not permitted in the Veunes. The loud music and very tight crowds, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights would be torture for an animal. Kindergarten, Car Show, Downtown, Bandstand area’s are dog friendly. If crowds make your furry friend nervous – we suggest Friday mornings.
We are planning to be as close to our traditional festival as we can. Please keep an eye on our web page: www.Oktoberfest.Org for details.
Ernest, please see the web page: https://oktoberfest.org/park-stay__trashed/rv-and-tent-locations/ for contact information for the lots in town. They are independently owned and operated. Prost!
Sorry, we cannot ship.
YES! and our store is open. The stein is beautiful and much larger than past years. www.oktoberfest.org/store Prost!
Camille, we had to go virtual this year. Great line up for 6 hours of entertainment and a on-line store to pick up beverages and items for an at home party. Www.oktoberfest.org for details. Thanks for asking
No, not specifically. We have Senior Day on Thursday, and you can’t discount a $5 admission! Friday is Saluting our Armed Forces Day, and there is a $2 discount for those who have served. And if you want to hunt down a coupon for $2 off on a bottle of 10 Barrel beer, that can work. See you soon
There are multiple options for transportation depending on where you're staying. As far as I know, there are no shuttles that go directly from a hotel to the fest but there are other shuttle and ride options. www.oktoberfest.org has lots of information about how to get to the fest.
leave early otherwise 214 is a mess It is easier to come in from the north side of town
Many of the fest building have air conditioning, however many do not have them on but all have air blowers. Usually there are so many people and the fourms/venues are open. The weather is cooler so it wont be a problem. Hope that helps.
Yes you can. Just go to mt angel sausage webpage
The best answer is sort of... Dogs are allowed on leash, but not in the Music & Beer Gardens (Biergarten, Weingarten, Alpine Garten) So if you want a beer or a glass of wine, you will need to leave the fur kids at home. But if you want to come down and walk the streets eating and purchasing craft items, please come with them. My Mini Schnauzer will be in her Dirndl. Please say hi!
Nope, no charge. However, you don't eat if you don't have a few bucks.
