For the price, Papago Gardens gets 5 Stars. I have lived here since Aug of 2013 so 8 years and have seen it change a lot over time. I am very happy living here and thank Yevette for all her kindness and professional Management style. Lived in another apt here that when I opened the door my heart dropped. It was so disappointing. A 1970's look that was worn, falling down and cigarettes' burned counters, dirt brown carpet, etc. Then I had surgery and had to move to a downstairs unit- another apt in Nov of 2014 A NEWLY remodeled unit with just about everything New. Cabinets, carpet, wood flooring and matching appliances. I was over joyed when I entered the NEW place. Then 2019 they painted the outside from ugly yellow and brown (AS seen in main pics) to gray, cream, and burgundy paint that gave it a fresh & modern NEW look. I prefer upstairs but am downstairs so my complaint is stomping feet of upstairs. Yes the parking for guests is unacceptable but you can park across the street or on Roosevelt street in a pinch. Too many people have 2 cars and park both in guest parking and some use it to park cars with expired tags for months at a time adding to the problem. I have one assigned spot so I am happy to have that. I'm pretty handy so can help maintain the apt so rarely need to call. They are okay when needed. It may take awhile at time but they get to it. Sometimes that day. Some tenants can't even plunge a toilet so it waists the time of the staff to do thing the tenants can do themselves. The grounds are kept clean. Wish it had more trees, shrubs & grass but next door you can see tall trees from the apt. I have a puppy so Roosevelt Street is great to walk on with all the trees and greenery on it- just two driveways down. If you want to spend $700 more a month move to the ones next door and demand things but they have problems too and only one space to park. Papago Gardens is a nice place to live and at a fair price. I recommend it unless you are a rich person then buy a house! Thanks for your years of good service (:

I just recently moved out from here and have to say I will be missing this place. Yvette the manager has been wonderful to me and my family. If I am to return to Arizona I will be coming back. My little apartment was just right for us. Thank you for everything.
