My experience has been a hit and miss with this location but I still gave a 5 star because of one person. Bronnie, her effort was what they call "go above and beyond the call of duty". My issue took weeks to resolve and she always reassured me that everything will be ok and that she will do whatever she can to make sure we get to the solution. It was just a great pleasure to work with her.

Waited on the phone for days it seemed to get nothing resolved. The lady working here is a complete train wreck and literally could give me no information or even point me in the right track of where I could remotely get what I was looking for. Thanks for nothing! Wouldn’t even give them one star if I didn’t have to!

The reason I gave this location five stars was because the security guard explains himself & what's the purpose of him stating what he says. No weapons, no mace or knifes and he inspects purses and back packs for the safety of everyone in the facility. We arrived at 8:40 a.m. and one person was in line waiting. By the time we were in the building checking in with the kiosk, there was a long line behind us. Resources in the entry way for conmon questions and forms available. The lady that helped us today was kind and informative. A clean and unisex bathroom is available right behind the security guard booth.

Went on a Friday, mid-month in 102 degree heat hoping for no crowds. Figured that right, waited only about 3 minutes, but after I gave the worker at the window ALL of the required documents, I was told that I HAVE to have an appointment even tho the SSA website says one is NOT necessary. I had the paperwork filled out, but was told they would do that over the phone via a phone appointment in FIVE (5) weeks. I was also told that I have to go thru the Portland, OR office, which is also untrue. They are a Federal entity. I can apply in Alaska if I want. I have no idea why she could not have taken my FILLED OUT claim form at that time. So, no wait, but no real service either! How many stars is that????

You have to order his birth certificate if you dont already have one along with all your proper I.D. It has to be someone thats listed on the birth certificate or has a copy of power of attorney and then you can take it to social security to get a new on issued.
You have to go into the office
Just had to do that. You can call and have all the info ready for the deceased person and how your related then they want you to come down in person. Also social security is the only ones who can change medicare info and staus and they want a copy of death certificate when you go in person.
You can walk in and just take a number
Appointments only. There is a drop box in the lobby if you need it.
Yes, they are closed to the general public and are only granting appointments for dire need. They are trying to do everything by phone and mail.
Still closed. Call to make appointment.
You have to go in an wait for a window just to make an appointment!
Maybe check your myssa account.. it might be able to be accessed that way... Or go into the office and talk to someone.. they can verify your identity easier in person.
I believe that Marc is correct. I don't think it makes a difference.
I don't think so
That depends on what you need to do at SSI. Bring your picture ID and social security card (if you don't have your number memorized). They will tell you what else you need. They will help you get things they need. Also if you are getting a new SS card like for a baby, you will need a birth certificate (not the one they give you at the hospital. Also bring your patience.
Need proof of as for housing
My apologies, but your question doesn't make sense so could you reword? Sounds like you need to send an email to the Social Security office or check the website under "frequently asked questions and answers" for a response to your question
Your questions does. Sound like it is a question for Social Security but I could be wrong. I suggest you view the website for frequently asked questions and answers in the case of your husband and he can probably get temporary financial assistance or the financial assistance can also be provided by Department of Social and Health Services. I suggest you walk-in to get the paperwork rolling if this is an urgent matter for you
I am not aware of such list. I suggest you go to the website for the section of frequently asked questions and answers and the answer to your question may be on that list. If not you may want2 call or stop by the Social Security office. The 1-800 numbers on the website also. Press the little microphone on the Google search bar, ask your question, it will take you directly to the website or your choice of site. Good luck
Walk in or call the # on the website. the website also helps with frequently asked questions and answers
They normally don't charge or such service on your Social Security card, I suggest you go in with the proper paperwork. Google the frequently asked questions with answers from the website
Usually i think theres a downspend period. Where you have to spend the money within a certain amount of time before they start docking your pay, however, with outside settlements it might be sooner. I would definitely ask a worker as only they can give you information to your specific situation.
I suggest you go to the website and see if you can download the forms or pick them up at your nearest Social Security office to at least get things rolling because there is a waiting period of possibly 6 to 8 weeks. Thousands of people applying for different SSI matters and the process takes 6 or more weeks.... Frequent questions w/answers that are asked can also be viewed on the website. The website is very informative and useful! Good Luck!
First you have to wait to see if you are approved. You will get notifications in the mail of the entire process. Sometimes people don't get approved the first time and it can b a very long process.... so each case is different and unique on an individual basis. Give it 6 weeks or more because there are many many people waiting for approval and then be able to move on to the next phase "if approved. I suggest you go to the website and Google frequent questions asked. Their website is very useful and resourceful. They should have given you a pamphlet on this entire process. I suggest you go on the website! Good luck!
For social security card? On fridays in the morning your wait time is little, and you have to wait a week to get your s.s. card in mail. For Social Security, I have no idea.
If you are collecting unemployment, yes. If not, no.
Need proof of ss can I walk in and have info ready to go
How much is a replacement card?
Walk into any social security office with picture id and they will gove a copy
They are open weekdays from 9am to 4pm except Wednesday's from 9am to noon
