Careful living here, they will leave you without AC all day during the summer so many times that you eventually break your lease. Oh and don’t bother cleaning the apartment yourself either cause they are just going to slap you with a collection for $465 in cleaning fees anyways.

Anastasia is the best tenant manager I've ever had, she has gone up above and beyond what I know is required of a person in her position to do, and should be recognised for it ,by helping multiple tenets stay in there apartments and better themselves in this time of need. when everyone is struggling. Godbless you Anastasia.

Anastasia at the front office is the most amazing person. She went above and beyond to help me out with something that was very important, and could have resulted in me even being homeless, but she came thru, worked her magic, and made the impossible happen. Not only that, but she’s always up at the front in a great mood, ready to help anybody and everybody. Really grateful for her. Thank you again so much!!!

Poor management. Someone came into my room for maintenance when I was at work. I couldn't believe what I saw when I got back from my work. The floor and the carpet were covered by water and mud, and my furniture was moved all around. I had to throw away my carpet because the mud didn't come off. They should have told me there was maintenance in my unit (the office lady said they tried to contact me, but I didn't answer so they decided to come in anyway. I wasn't able to pick up the call because I was at work!) Or they should have cleaned the room after the maintenance, at least. I spent two hours cleaning up the mess after I got back from my work!

The square footage of the apartments is don't even try to live there. Too many problems with needing repairs, bugs(bed bugs and roaches), lieing about prices on multiple platforms, and tweekers/loitering, random people you don't know ringing your doorbell or standing outside of your door or porch even talking outside of it disturbing the peace. If you want something more sensible Desert Star is not one of them. Left there long ago and never came back. I talk anyone out of it when I can, it's not worth your time or money.
Their casino they own. Don't ask me how I know I have my sources.
Unfortuneatly yes I have witnessed some and that manager isnt the most pleasant to talk to. I'm surprised that place is even still open. The very owners don't do anything there for anyone. That place needs to be condemned honestly for how trashy it is. And its only getting worse and going up every year in price. I'm glad I moved when I did.
I also pay 700$ since I moved here never had any problems maybe because I'm always working lol. And I think the issue whit the police and fire department is cause this appartment complex has a housing program for ppl whit low income that's why the police is always around, and to be honest the place is not that bad according to the reviews from a year ago I think it got better. My own opinion...by the way I'm looking for a roommate call for more info.
I live there in a studio I don't know what the whole commotion whit the bug's was or is but I had been living there for at least 4 months and I never had any problems unit is clean I will say there's a roach here and there but I use the foggers bombs against roaches and is working out so at least my unit is good and as long as you mind u own business no one bother u..
Cassandra is right and not only is that an issue but theres also roaches in some units as well and a few tenants already told me they are battling mold issues in their apartment and from personal experience of once living in this apartment, heed my words do not for the sake of your sanity and your families safety move in to this place. As much as the police are called in to this place and the weird people who loiter around I wouldnt. One of my neighbors before I moved out told me theres someone who was around in the neighborhood that didn't live there and he asked these folks a question about their kid outside of their apartment when they were either going to or back from the store, this man asked this family how old their daughter was, what her hair and eye color were and even how tall she was, seemingly weird questions they do not need to tell a stranger. Their kid was fine thwnkfully but the next day there was 3 different Amber Alerts in the valley. Not a safe place for kids.
No but they have 2 spas
