A Story With Rory
Cool historical spot. There’s a trail you can hike. Read the history. Glass mountain pronounced Gloss mountain.

Such a nice change of scenery in Oklahoma. Is this an all day kinda place? No. The steps are a little jankety. So if you don't have good balance, or short legs, be careful. I am 5'1 and had to do some high steps to get up the mountain. Also probably not great for little kids as there is no railing on the edge of mountains. Bring your lunch or morning solitude and enjoy the scenery and sparkle that the mountains give off. I would consider this more of a plateau and not a mountain, but they call it what it is. This is good for 2-3 hours of enjoyment.

Great place to go if you want to get out of town and spend some time in nature. I took my dog and my son and we all enjoyed the hike and the scenery. The very beginning of the trail is a series of metal stairs. My dog didn’t love it but he was determined to make it work. With about 15-20 feet to the top the stairs end and it’s a very steep rock climb. It could be challenging for some but there is railing for support. The views are beautiful. But the skyline is peppered with giant windmills and the landscape with oil wells.

Great Oklahoma day trip. The stairs up to the top are pretty steep, so plan on wearing tennis shoes or hiking boots. There are restrooms and picnic tables at the bottom. We had our children and our dog with us, and we all had a wonderful time!

No, but you may be able to find something nearby.
There really isn't any place there to camp.
No camping or swimming there, but you're not too far from Canton Lake, which has both.
It's a state park and taking things is discouraged. They do have a bin of approved things to take home. I recommend using that.
At least a quarter mile, sorry once we got done playing on the hills out front we then climbed the steep mountain top trail. Once we summited we took pics and rested lol. I could see benches in the distance on the plateau, but we didn't venture out. Hope that helps
