A very special experience. We took the trolly tour and the guides were very good at giving us a connection to the cemetery. We saw a reunion of veterans while at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and that made it even more special.

Very impressive place due to the presence of many fallen. But the guide told us that not only those who died in the war are buried, but the soldiers who participated in the various wars if they were to die in these times, family members can ask to bury them in this cemetery.

No...I was there on Monday. It's very open and spacious. You do have to go through security though. It's just ALOT of walking esp to see the Tomb of the Unknown soldier

I wouldn't go near here with a car if I have a choice. Take the Metro. If you do plan to take a car leave plenty of time for both arrival and departure because the cemetery is very busy.

Definitely get a tour. It is huge, confusing, and takes hours of walking.
