No...I was there on Monday. It's very open and spacious. You do have to go through security though. It's just ALOT of walking esp to see the Tomb of the Unknown soldier

I was there first week of August and my suggestion is take the tour. You can get on and off.
No admission but walking and it seems to be uphill no matter what. It is really hit there right now so bring a water bottle. Little known fact...there is a bathroom under the stairs of the tomb of the unknown soldier with a water fountain.
