If you're a white collar professional do not waste your time here unless you're filing for UI. The jobs posted on the site are either outdated or phishing links. Told the rep this, he claimed to have shared that with his manager. Her response was to tell him, to tell me, not to apply for the positions with the phishing link. NO SH8*T! Got set up for an interview to take place on 10/6 in a federal program for seniors that I'm over qualified for at UPO. Got to the interview and the person that was supposed to interview me stated she had no idea of my appointment, which was set and confirmed by DOES representative 2 weeks prior. The person was firm about not being able to interview me when I arrived. Shared this with the representative at DOES that arranged this, she appeared to be upset I left the location after being told "they" asked me to wait. "They" she's referring to is not the interviewer, but a gentleman at the same NGO. The person scheduled to interview me never once asked me to wait, she adamantly conveyed via the receptionist she was unavailable. I have a host of things to say about the competencey level of representatives I encountered in the short 3 months I attempted leveraging DOES as a professional senior seeking employment.

I filed several claims online, I called the office and was told I would be in the system in a week. Only to find out that you can only file a claim in person. I show up to the building and it is closed. The workers have training but that is not listed on their website.

They never answer, every person you talk to has an attitude and they don’t even help..sad to say but it’s a waste of time
they took the money and put in their account i guess... it doesn't make any sense if you file and you don't get anything.. some of us need to buy medication and we can't do that because someone just don't care.

They can close and issue you a new pin number file a new claim.
Must continue to file weekly certification with paper forms. Take a pic and send to factfinding.gov. To ensure you get all your back payments.
I hire a few employees but did not give them the staff handbook immediately due to the hectic schedule of working two which was not my plan.

In my opinion its best that you bring it to your claims examiner. So they can resolve it systematically. Make sure you keep a paper trail of your claims so that you can have record of your documents and talk with an unemployment representative to fix any issues with proper submissions in the future.
Are their any offices in DC that I can go to in person? I still haven't got paid! Not 100% sure I'm doing everything correctly. I'm trying to get help sent many emails, made phone calls and i had my hours cut on Marchn12th 2020.

They are not at this location but you can speak with an employment specialist and he or she can work with you to find a location and give you the information that you need in order to register. I hope this helps.
