I will say the location is just amazing. And it’s great to have mugs and poke right below but it is not worth the 900 a month with three roommates when there are cheaper places just a block further from campus. When we first moved in it was like no one had cleaned the place. There was dirt all over the floor and like years worth of gunk and grime on the tops of the shelves in the kitchen. There were still hooks on the ceiling from previous leases and my carpet had a very weird waxy texture which made it seem like it only ever had a vacuum and never a proper deep clean. My bathroom has terrible ventilation and mold is constantly growing even after I use vinegar to clean it. These are some things I just wasn’t thinking about when leasing my first apartment. I think what’s also good to keep in mind is that they will try and make you renew literally in November which is a total scam. Never feel rushed to renew that early it’s not worth it. If you renew and then realize you have a better offer they will make YOU pay a $350 “relet fee” but you have to find the person on your own and they do not help you. It’s now may and they are still only 90% full so keep that in mind. Also I highly recommend not emailing them because you will never get a response anyway. Even though the kitchens seem nice there is hardly any room for cookware for three, and food for three. There is also a frat that rents out space on the ground floor of the west wing and they play music so loud it can shake the third floor and no matter how many times I ask them to stop it never happens. So these are some things I never considered before moving in and I wish I had. I hope this will help those in the future :). There are also places that are like 700 a month and almost as close to campus and come furnished!!!

Took a tour here this week and was blown away by how friendly the staff are and how nice the community was. The location is perfect for me to walk to my classes. I'm so excited to move in this fall!

This apartment is set in the PERFECT location. Everything is clean and the management is very attentive. Fort Collins is such a fun place to live as a young adult and the Flats at the Oval is a great place to live while going to school.

The Flats at the Oval is the place to be! It is a stellar location if you attend CSU and if you want to be close to popular hangouts like Mugs coffee which is right in the building! It’s also close to Old Town which is super nice!! The maintenance is great and the leasing office staff are super helpful and provide several fun activities to do throughout the month! I highly recommend living here!
