Loved this place! So glad I drove my 4Runner. The gravel road entry way is REAL bumpy and steep. There were a lot of holes in that entry way that really do need to be refilled that could definitely pop a standard car tire. If you have a SUV/Truck you'll be fine. Otherwise I could not have asked for a better weekend stay. Stayed in September and the weather was perfect. Landscape still had lush green trees. They have thought of all the necessities you need. I bought picnic table covers from Amazon for $20 and it made the cleaning and comfortability a breeze. Brought our own citronellas candles as well to fend off the mosquitos. Could not have asked for a better stay especially bringing my senior pup with me. You do not need to bring a dog spike as this is provided.

This getaway was everything and more! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary. They had a balloon, note, snack gift waiting upon our arrival. The staff was SO diligent, and it was perfect for our stay. We brought a game to play, some steak to grill, and stopped at Osceola Cheese Co. on our way in to make a charcuterie board. So fun!

Five stars honestly isn’t enough for this place! The perfect place to unwind and disconnect! The fun of camping with all of the conveniences of a bed, bathroom, A/C, and a quiet setting! As I was leaving I had a flat tire and within minutes the very kind facilities manager was there to help! Can’t wait to go back!

Hi Melissa, Our Ozark Highlands Getaway is one of the outposts where our Walmart "General Store" will be launching. However, I'm afraid we don't have an official date for when they will launch quite yet. So sorry about that. Feel free to reach out to us closer to your desired stay date. We look forward to welcoming you!

There is a convenience store just off of 13 highway that has decent coffee. It is next to Sugarfoot barbecue. If you feel like driving a little bit, there is a cute coffee shop between Lowry City and Deepwater, called Four Fillies Mercantile. However, I recommend taking a French press to the cabin, along with some of your favorite beans (coarsely ground) as well as whatever type of creamer/milk you prefer. They have gooseneck kettles and two-burner stove tops in the cabins.
