I had a one night stay in the Poconos and chose this hotel. I was a female in my 20s staying alone. They gave me a room with an inside door to an adjacent room that didn’t lock. From the sound, it seemed like a group of men staying in the adjacent room. When I went to the reception to request a different room that does have door locks. I was told ‘it’s not a big deal no one’s really going to open the door’. After explaining to her multiple times that I didn’t feel safe being in a room with doors that don’t lock did she finally give me another room. It was genuinely unbelievable. At the basic level a hotel room shouldn’t have doors that can be opened by anyone outside the room!

Haven't seen much but when I went the place seemed abandoned and there was no one to talk to for about 5 minutes, when I guess the receptionist (male) came from a back room (I suppose). Apparently they're fully booked but it seemed the complete opposite . . . was such a dead and condescending feeling.
