In reply: SPEAK TO KATIE J.PETTIT, if you want someone to speak with about this situation because she has EVERY email I sent to her and you'll see how very slow she was in communication. And if she doesn't still have them then she deleted them to hide her unprofessionalism and laziness! This place staff is ridiculous. First, it took 2-3 days to get a call back after calling back the 1st time and leaving a voicemail stating I was still interested in an interview. So, I was told I would getting info for a caregiver position for the next orientation 2wks away after I passed the interview. I turned down other jobs waiting on this place because I liked the lady who interviewed me personality. I finally get an email about the paperwork this Thursday that needed to be turned in by Monday so I can go to get the physical done for orientation. I turned it in Friday around 11am and get an email Tuesday morning asking where I turned it in at. I turned the paperwork in where they told me to turn in my caregiver application in at the assisted living concierge desk (not the care center and not the office, but the assisted living location) asap to get my physical and be ready for the next orientation. Then, Tuesday at 3:37pm, I get another email stating they can’t find it and to do the paperwork over and tomorrow was supposed to be orientation. I turned it in on time (even sent 2 emails stating I turned it in between 10am and 12pm on Friday). Then, 4 days later I get an email stating they can’t find it and to turn it in again. Oh no I’m not playing these games and I’m not letting these people waste my time anymore. FYI, the next orientation is another 3wks away! I'm not waiting and letting them make me lose anymore money because I have bills to pay like everyone else. Not to mention, MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER WAS ON A COUPLE OF PAGES IN THAT PAPERWORK AND THEY LOST IT! I pray that someone just threw it away instead of writing down my private information for ungodly reasons. Why would you have people drop of sensitive paperwork anywhere but an office of someone who is qualified to handle that sensitive employee information smh. Avoid this place like the plague it is smh. There are other facilities to work for that actually are professional. They don’t care about potential employees time and they will waste your time. Anyone who is applying to this place please watch out for the red flags. Because I should’ve known these people were unprofessional when they didn’t respond promptly to emails and phone calls like other facilities do. Don’t quit or turn down other jobs waiting for this place. It’s not worth it!

I would recommend Church of Christ Assisted Living to family and friends who are in need of a place for their loved ones. Their care and caring were excellent. My mom resided there for a little over a year and she was always treated with kindness and caring. Every staff member who entered her room spoke to her with respect and genuine affection. Thank you all for everything you did for her, I always knew she was in good cape-able hands.

I moved my parents into Church of Christ Assisted living almost one year ago. The care has been AMAZING. While I must say, the building could use some touch ups, all of that is overshadowed by the great care that my parents have received thus far. The facility has been around for decades and they specialize in what they do. I am leaving this review because my father passed away and I couldn't have asked for a better place for him to spend his final days. You have all my recommendations, Church of Christ.
