Although the staff here is very kind, they are completely incompetent with cats. My cat has no history with being difficult at the vet but the staff here terrorized my cat trying to pin him down until he tried to bite them— all for a simple blood test. They suggested leaving him there for a few hours and sedating him.. again this is for a BLOOD DRAW. Maybe they know how to deal with dogs, but take your cat somewhere else.

Came in for a routine exam with both my exotic shorthair cats. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The doctor was knowledgeable and didn’t push for anything that wasn’t needed.

We are so grateful for our family veterinarian, Dr. Richard Altieri at Olde Towne Animal Hospital, a kind, resourceful, thoughtful, diligent, and caring physician, who for fifteen years has been a friend to us and the four-legged members of our family. He's seen two generations of our pups through good times and bad, applying a personal, attentive, and commendable combination of good sense and careful science to keeping them happy and healthy, always. Whenever their care has involved outside specialists, we've been especially grateful for Dr. Altieri's perspective and counsel, helping us to organize tangled recommendations and lines of inquiry into a sensible plan of care, always with an informed and level-headed focus on their quality of life. The technicians who join our visits in the exam rooms are always cheerful, careful, loving, to the point that our pups have come to look forward to visiting their veterinarian friends at Olde Towne. (!) We can't say enough about Dr. Altieri and his colleagues, and are so pleased to call Olde Towne our family vets.
