Very nice park. We rented the lake view pavilion for a company BBQ and it was perfect. Near the lake and not far from nature trails. Was a great park and we willcbe back. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is they have signs posted that your not allowed to bring your pets and I didn't know that beforehand so my dog had to stay in the truck the whole time.

Great place for families. Pavilions, beach area, play area, anough room to spread out and relax. Great views and very friendly.

Nice place for a family or organizational mandatory fun day!

Enjoyed this place quite a bit but was confused by the blocking off of certain sections of the play structure. Really nice area and I love that it's by the water.

There is no admission fee. There is a parking fee which it is a $3 fee for Ingham County Residents & a $5 fee for non Ingham County Residents. It is free if you are just going to walk into the park. Sorry! I don't know anything about your state park sticker. However you might be able to call Lansing Parks & Recreation to get an answer.
$3 for ingham county residents to park their vehicle, $5 for non residents to park their vehicle.
And
Yes it is! But there are areas where dogs are not allowed. There is a section along the water at the far end from the parking lot where dogs can play in the water. They aren't allowed on the beach. There are signs and staff should be able to point you in the right direction.
It's open now. No fee entry at the moment. That could change at memorial day.
Some parking is available withing 100 feet of a pavilion... others farther.
I would call the park coordinator and ask
I've been there 3 times in the last month and while it says beach closed, many were swimming.
$3 for Ingham county residents and I believe $5 / $6 for non. On many days that I've gone there around 4-5PM it was free.
The lake is open
Yes and i've never seen ice for sale. But the Quality Dairy does sell ice and it's on the opposite corner, easy walk if needed.
It's free unless you want to reserve it for big group then you can have all the tables reserved that you want but free the first come first serve family-wise not groupwise
