Convenient location for Myrtle Beach attractions. Stayed here this August, although we were initially impressed that we were given a 2 Bedroom Condo room we noticed that the room and the building were showing wear and tear. The room was in need of re-painting and a thorough cleaning. The bed linens were of poor quality. Plus there was a kitchen in the room but no kitchen towels or face tissue either. Restaurant had an OK buffet for breakfast.

Villa was clean and spacious, albeit a little dated but still very usable. The grounds were well-cared for, the community felt safe and walkable at night. Villa residents have access to Embassy Suites which has a nice bar area, Starbucks and a restaurant. The outdoor pool was closed for renovation; the progress so fat looks like the pool area will be awesome in the future. The spa/indoor pool/gym were also included and nice to use. The beach was clean. Great stay!

This is regarding condos and villas in Kingston Resorts; we don't know about the other accommodations. The condo in which we stayed has a "No Dogs" policy with $500 fines if violated. This does NOT apply to condo OWNERS. Our stay was totally ruined by our next door neighbor/owner who brought a hair trigger dog that barked at everything (you know the type). Don't get me wrong; we recently lost our dog-kids and they would have been with us (not here tho due to rules). Bad dog behavior is on the owner, not the dog. These people let the dog bark wildly and unconstrained. The thin walls in the older units made it seem that the dog was in our kitchen. We called security who could only issue a complaint. Our condo owner called them. We complained in person. Nothing worked and we were so stressed out after 2 days without sleep that we had to cut our vacation short. Think twice or get some kind of guarantee on your rental if this type of thing bothers you. Also, try to avoid the restaurants on Kings Hwy near the resort. As we got further from those the meals and service improved. Sign of the times wrt service workers I guess.
