* The website advertises lowest rate guaranteed, but will not price match. * the website advertises 20% discount if you stay 2 nights or more but will not honor that…they said only so many rooms available at that discount. * First room they sent us to was dirty and had a pill of some sort on the coffee table. I asked for another room and the lady fussed at me for about 5 minutes before assigning another room. * second room was also dirty and one of the 2 ac units didnt work. The shower head was covered in mold and mildew so my husband and I didnt get to shower. We washed up at the sink which wouldnt drain. *pool and lazy river were closed due to hurricane damage…understandable but they should have told me when i called to book. *breakfast was awful. We threw it in the trash both days *tiki bar and restaurant were closed *parking was terrible as there was no room to maneuver the turns *no security *ocean view was great and was the only good thing about this facility…its a dump If clean is what you are looking for then Keep looking.

+Clean Resort -Slightly outdated. +10th floor pool and large hottub. +Small Lazy River, Hottub and pool on the ground ocean front. (These were closed due to a recent Hurricane but looked decent. It took them 3 days to fill them back up while we were there and idk how much longer to get them open since we left. And we were there a solid week after hurricane so something to keep in mind if a recent storm has happened. +Onsite Laundry -No coin machine for laundry. $2 for washer/dryer. If you use the app to pay it charges you a .35cent fee to upload money then an extra .25cent fee per machine. So if doing one complete load it would be 4.85, 2 loads 9.35, etc. + Parking on the same level of your room up to the 9th floor I believe. (Can only confirm up to 5th but know the parking garage went on up.) -The parking garage was hard to navigate in a large suburban that is slightly raised. 6'6" height limit but ground floor had plenty of space for parking. We just kept parking on our floor but it did add a couple extra minutes to navigate up and down. +Parking garage on land side, ocean front rooms (and side ocean view 10th floor up), not hard to walk to beach with two walkways. +4 elevators 3 in hallways 1 in garage around the corner. -Garage elevator didn't work and 1 hall elevtor quit working while there but no big deal since 2 still worked. It did take us a second to pay attention to signs tho that the 3 hall elevators all worked off the same buttons and 1 elevator is off to the side so you had to watch what floor and be sure to catch whichever one opened. Easy once ya figured it out. We stayed in room 533 through AirBnB but was able to glimpse into a lot of rooms with open curtains and they all appeared to basically be the same layout and in the same state of condition. It seemed like the only difference staying via AirBnB was that we were not eligible to eat breakfast and was unable to purchase breakfast there and we did not have housekeeping services since a private cleaner cleaned after we checkout. The breakfast looked like a typical hot food hotel breakfast. Scrambled eggs, meat, waffle machine. We booked last minute thru airbnb and the cost of the place for 4 nights was about 500 bucks so I would stay there again for that price. When you walked in you had two beds then a galley kitchen with bathroom (toilet and shower had a door separating them from bathroom sink.) Then a Lil living room with a 4 person table, Murphy bed and couch and balcony. Rated a 3 due to age of hotel. When Brand new would have been a 4.5. Beach wasn't crowded but we were there mid Oct for Fall break.

Well we are here and only one pool one hottub available on the rooftop deck. The lazy river , outdoor pool and outdoor hottub is closed due to parts which I’ve been told they have tried different ones still can’t get it going. I called before coming they said everything was good pay all that money for nothing very disappointing here.

Parking is a nightmare. If you have a truck or SUV its a nerve racking experience to park even for the best driver. The TVs didn’t work. If you want to call to report problems at the front desk, your phone wont work. Roaches in the room. Floors were covered in sand when we walked in. Staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The walls are very thin so you will hear every little noise. People slamming doors throughout the night. Every floor is attached to a parking garage so if someone starts their car at midnight, you’re going to hear it. Don’t bother with the breakfast. I would say cook in your room, but like I mentioned before there are roaches so do at your own risk.

We had no issues at all in the parking garage. We rented a smaller car but even if i had a bigher one i still wouldn't of had any problems...There were a lot of bad reviews abt the garage itself. That definitely wouldn't keep me from staying there!!!
We've been there the last 2 years. Love it has a kitchen and we take a grandson that thinks a bed in a wall is wonderful. He sleeps there and we get a king size bed. Nice free breakfast and it's much quieter than on main drag area. Nice pools and hot tubs. I'm not a big fan of parking garage but car is protected from salt air. We usually ask for a lower floor and you park your car on that level. Will be booking another trip soon for this summer. The management gives out discount coupons for local restaurants too. There is a safe in the room too. ENJOY! 🙂
We just stayed 4 days, didn't see a cleaning person in our room once,had to go get our own towels, cleaned our own room.room was ok, but service at the hotel is terrible.also 9 rooms had money stolen out of them was the talk from guest around the pool.

Open but weak. Couldn't stay connected more than 20 mins. Had to use my mobile hotspot.
They charged us 35.00 for something and they refused to refund it and when we tried to ask what it's for they wouldn't tell us but I think they gave us oceanfront when we booked Oceanview but for some reason they didn't have the room for us so that's why we got the room we got. Usually they are nice but this time around they wasn't and it makes me not want to stay with them.
I don't know. I found the suites very nice and clean. I saw not one roach. My family enjoyed this place. This was my third time staying at this hotel. It is dated but it was very clean, spacious and we had everything we needed. We spent 3 wonderful nights and we had a great experience.
We do offer very limited trailer parking, it is on a first come first serve basis, and it also based on the size of the trailer. There is public street parking in front of the resort.
Yes, I use hotels .com, booking early and staying your earn free nights and get rooms at a better rate! First time users stay 10 nights anywhere you book thru them anywhere in the world you get 1 night free the average the amounts of each rooms daily expense to get your free nights room balace. May not be the best of travel booking sites as it's the second app I've used but, a better rate in advance, and a free nights stay after 10 bookings is worth using I believe. Also try air bnb.com it's a site slot of locals or condo, apartment, house owners use in the area, it's got great places and prices there as well. But there is a big difference in Caravelle and Monterrey Bay if your wanting the luxury stay, It wouldn't be my choice, but as a budget friendly option it is nice. I asked for extra guest pass spot parking pass for guest that was sharing room, they had no issue.
3 pm and they've been ready every time we've stayed.
They asked kids to remove personal floats from river.. other poop isnt large enough for alot pf floats
You can ask when you check in that you have a large vehicle and would like to park on the ground level. I see full size SUVs there. We use pathfinder and it was fine to drive through the floors. With cargo box on the top of sienna may be too high. Watch sprinkler nozzles on the ceiling if your car can get under them.
About 10 to 15 mins
They will not give you a pass for second vehicle...if you have 2 cars you will have to pay extra and park across the street...on the street and pay $10 for every 15 hours until your vacation is over...and car tied up if you need to go anywhere you will lose your time on meter and have to pay again...really sucks and front desk person acted snippety about it...never stay here again...
There is one on the 8th for. With a spa across from it. Then you also have the main pool at the entrance to the beach. It is a really nice set up.
We just stayed there for a week it was nice had a few problems but they fixed them very fast also we loved that they served hot full breakfast every day and it was awesome we are goi g back and Iam very picky so for me to say we liked it WE LIKED IT
