My family and I have stayed here multiple times throughout a ten-year span and this most recent time will be our last. 1. I am currently "disabled" due to a foot injury, and the entire first-level/handicap parking was closed off. It was supposed to be closed off from 10/3-10/7; My family and I stayed from 10/08-10/11 and it never opened. 2. The overflow is across the street. THE ELEVATOR DOES. NOT. WORK. So, with very limited mobility, I had to walk from the 2nd or 3rd level all the way down and out. THEN had to worry about crossing the street at a snail's pace because there were no handicap accommodations where the actual building is. 3. I WAS CHARGED TWICE!!! I recently had a lot of money stolen/ my debit card was compromised, so it had to be canceled. This was a day before our trip. Fortunately, I remembered that I had a credit card with a $1000 limit. It had about $770 in credit on there; So, I was able to take that with me without carrying cash from a withdrawal. They charged a $200 hold PLUS the remainder of the stay (~$250) TWICE. Naturally, on vacation, that $70 was gone in a meal on the first day and I literally had no more money because they charged an extra $250. They released it and said "it'll be back within 3-5 business days." -_- THEY COMPLETELY RUINED MY VACATION BECAUSE I HAD NO MONEYYY!!!! I had two days of nothingness because my limit was maxed out because of them. 4. The room was subpar. Could definitely use paint and better cleanliness should be applied (there was a booger on the wall that greeted us upon walking in.) 5. I called them for towels and washcloths at 8:50 A.M. I ordered them for them to be waiting on us upon return from the pool and beach. We get back around 4 PM and no towels. I called down and they had no record of my request (although my mom just so happened to stop in the lobby for something unrelated and the staff member reassured her that the towels were coming soon). They then said that they had no clean towels and some were in the wash; I was told they would be up as soon as they were ready. So, my family and I had to sit around in salt water, sand, and chlorine because we had no means to take baths. 6. The kiddie attraction (the main reason we booked here) was inoperable. JUST A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND A RUNDOWN PLACE; I RECOMMEND (IF FEASIBLE) TO PAY THE EXTRA $100 OR SO AND STAY SOMEWHERE NICER.

Overall it’s clean & safe and you are sleeping in a room with an oceanfront balcony. Our visit was bordering on the off season, but there were just so many little things about the facility that I can’t offer more than a 3 star rating. There seemed to be quite a bit of maintenance going on. The elevators smelled like cigarettes. The rooms were a bit cramped. Despite the cleanliness, many parts of the building just seemed a bit run down. One of the elevators was not working, but there was never a sign to indicate it.

For all of the Mama's out there who need to know it's $2 for washers and 1.50 for the dryers. The washers are quite small but the dryer's can fit 2 loads, 3 if you wanna push it. I say bring your own small thing of laundry soap. Otherwise it's 1.25 per box of tide and laundry sheets. Very nice laundry facility!!
You should be able to. It's a lot cheaper to bring your own though.

Outside lazy river, there are some pool side bars. I have stayed multiple times and find the rooms nice, clean, ans affordable.

Hello Brit, We stayed at Caravelle Resort via another method than booking with resort. (Privately owned) If you did as well you might need to check their policy.
No you don't have to bring sheets and pillow cases, they provide them.

It does depend on the room and night but i would suggest booking through Groupon if possible. We did and saved a ton of money on an excellent Oceanview room.

Hi Tonya, breakfast is not included but we do have packages that include breakfast or you can purchase breakfast in advance for a discounted rate. It's a full buffet breakfast complete with an omelet and waffle station. It's very delicious and filling.

Not that I know of. I have never stayed in their suites, though. They do have 3 hot tubs on site that are clean and the perfect temp. Cannot imagine you would have an issue with privacy if you are going in the fall, winter or early spring.
