Love how they try to get the best fit for family and dog! We love our recent adoption, Major! He has settled in and is our forever dog!

We adopted a 12 yr old yellow female lab from LRRoF. We have had her about 41/2 months. The dog was totally misrepresented. She had separation anxiety and peed in the house from day one. When we finally got the foster to answer our calls, she admitted to these two issues plus others. We wanted to return the dog, but we’re told there was no one to foster her. This tells us volumes. They don’t want her back because no one else wanted her. Recently I emailed the lady in charge of our area asking for some assistance and received no response. Go figure. We will keep this sweet, loving female and do the best we can to correct her issues. I would never recommend that anyone adopt a dog from this organization. It is great that they re-home labs, but they need to be honest about the dog(s) they want adopted. This lab is our 5th adoption so we aren't new to this.

If you ask on Facebook messenger you will get a response from a volunteer. Also you will need to fill out an application and make your donation if you are looking to adopt any dog from this rescue.

Sorry, not at this time. As a rescue we are never sure when we will get pups. We do have a puppy waitlist

I live close to the dog I am interested in adopting. Do you allow the foster to bring the dog to the potential adopters home to meet the owner and other pets before a decision is made if this would be a good adoption?

Summer Devlin | Sep 15, 2020

we require all current pets meet with the new dog, it is up to the foster where that meeting takes place. If the foster is comfortable bringing the dog to you, that is allowed. Good luck, thank you for adopting!

Do you have any pics of them? When can we come and see them? Are you open on sundays? Really looking forward in adopting a baby and to give him/her a loving forever home. We went to the gulf coast humane society and was disappointed.

They are only 5 days old. We don’t have a facility, we are not a shelter. We require an application and home visit before any visits to a fosters home.
