Star nail, entire staff are rude and disrespectful. Upon entering into this GETTO establishment, located on the entry door sticker labeled American Express is accepted among other cards. However, after service was rendered tech states they do not accept American Express!!! Cash only for facials, I was yelled at and told to go to the ATM next door. I’m so humiliated and will never visit this place anymore. P.S.A. Spend your money where your money is appreciated. Put if you’re GETTO and use to being treated like this continue on. Blessed!!!!

My first experience will unfortunately be my last due to unprofessionalism, lack of quality customer service, and lack of class . This is my first encounter with a salon that attempts to force their patrons to choose spa services. I was in a rush the morning I discovered Star nails and chose to just do a standard pedicure so I can be in and out. One of the workers tried to deter me and told me they don’t have dryers so I wouldn’t be able to dry my toes. No problem. The person doing my toes smudged my toe while she was doing it and proceeded to pile multiple layers of nail polish over the discrepancy. I’m no nail tech but even I know that’s not the proper way to fix that issue. She begrudgingly fixed it after I got tired of waiting for her to do the right thing and told her that I could see the bubbles in the polish. When it was time to pay this was my last straw. The older red headed male decided to attempt to insult me saying “no money” when my Discover card declined. I educated him on the fraud protection I have enabled on my card when traveling. I was visiting the Pompano for the first time and the decline was the result of my cc company protecting their cardholder. One of the younger girls that works there came over in an attempt to clean up her family member’s disgusting remarks stating their language just sounds very aggressive but they’re not saying anything bad. She unfortunately wasn’t present when he made the prejudice comment. She then informed me that their machine does not accept Discover. I offered another method of payment and went on about my day.
