I moved to South Florida and was looking for the Orthodox Christian church. I believe St. Luke"s Church is going to be the place where I will keep coming to worship God.

Beautiful traditional Orthodox worship, glorious in music, is just the first thing you notice on entering their sanctuary. The rich color and Christian artistry - represented not only in the iconography and paraments but also in the clergy's and deacons' vestments - is immensely and deeply meaningful, as well as warm upon the eyes. The people of St. Luke are a part of that warmth. Serious about their worship, they are still welcoming and deeply generous toward and solicitous of visitors. Although I do not understand Russian - the language of their service - I was able to follow along thanks to understanding and generous help of parishioners, who provided a service book and translated addresses at times. Just a wonderful, deeply spiritual experience!
