Courtney Welch I've been having the same problem for a month and I dont have a vehicle so it's kinda difacult to just go up there. I talked to a couple of the other department selections and they said that have had a problem with the phone lines in that department and I know this has been going on for more than a couple weeks now

Wow! I've never had that much trouble but keep trying. Best to do first thing in the am like the minute they open

Yes I applied online and took pictures and sent off everything they needed and had my over the phone interview and was helped very much and easy.

U have to keep xalling up there and ask to speak to the supervisor

My friend had a phone appointment on11th, no call. Finally got thru today and rescheduled.

Depends. Why did you lose custody? If drugs are an issue it won't be that easy. You also need police reports and proof of abuse not just you saying it...anyone can claim abuse

There are local food banks which provide meals for free like Feed my sheep M-F 12-1pm and then there are food pantries that provide free food staples like Gulf Coast Community Ministries Tues n Thurs 9am-12pm. Most churches have a program to help or people that will donate food to you until your food benefits start. Just google food banks or food pantries and pay attention to the specific days and times they are open and they may have a stipulation that you live nearby like if you live in gulfport look at gulfport ones not long beach or pass Christian unless they say anyone. All case workers have a supervisor and if you're having trouble getting thing done I would suggest either calling up there and telling them you need to talk to your case workers supervisor or go up there and do the same

State dept of human services telephone # should be in the directory blue page s in phone book or google State dept. Mississippi human services then talk to them about filing a complaint. Or talk to human service director. @ food stamp office
