For the initial rental service they'll take a debit card, but when you rent the car you'll need a credit card for the security deposit. When you return the vehicle that amount is returned to the card.
You can quote on renting carz.com, it costs approximately $180 for three days, but insurance is expensive. Please note that tolls are not included.

They dont receive cash or debit you need a credit card
They accept monies in any form as long as you can cover their holding fee. In this moment I don't remember what that fee is.
