For someone who is trying to eat better, Zao is a great option. I went with the advertised base of half leafy greens and half brown rice. It was delicious and filling. My husband and I split a bowl and I felt like there was plenty of food for us both.

Great portion sizes, reasonable prices, super fresh food. Doesn’t get much better than ZAO cafe. First time having it and I can’t believe I haven’t tried sooner. The GM Carlos is awesome!!!

Great Asian fusion food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, my most recent is what deserves the 2 stars. One of the front doors was locked for quite a while during business hours (despite the sign directly above it stating it should be unlocked). While this seems like a small inconvenience, it’s actually a significant hazard in the case of an emergency. A main point of egress such as this should be unlocked during business hours to allow people to escape. At the end of the day, the food is still great though!
