Quick service and polite technicians!
Maria McLaughlin
The best service I have ever had. Every last person was very kind and professional.
Renee
The testers used to tell you what was wrong with your vehicle. Now they say things like, I'm not a mechanic or google it. It wouldn't be so bad if they weren't so rude about it when they say it.
Melissa Wilson
They were efficient and courteous and ready to serve.

it depends where you go.most of the time I will go very early especially in Columbia area or silver springs both of them are very fast and you can do it on your own.self service.
No, you can still go in for an inspection without your notice; they can use you plate# + ViN to look it up on their computers. MVA Inspections(ViEP) are required every 2 years; if you haven't received a notice, it wouldn't hurt to go in if it's been almost 2 years since your last inspection(~1 year, 11 months.) It's better than late fees and a possible red flag at the MVA when trying to renew your registration. 🍀
I'm not sure, but from what I know I think you can put your car info in like the year model and vin and it should find it in the system. But its easier with the paper all you do is scan it and all your info shows up,you clarify it correct and continue with the rest of the prompts on the screen
Yes but it doesn't work.
Mon Thurs Fri 830 - 5pm Tues & Wed 7am - 7pm Sat 7am -1pm

The self service kiosk cannot be used on 2004 and older cars or 2007 and older trucks

Right now the emission test is doing at self service kiosks with no appointment.
I have watched a video of it on Youtube. Try typing in "emmisions kiosks"
Just came from there. Both inspection and self-inspection are closed. Was told to go to Beltsville or try coming back in a month
This is just emission inspection. This is after you register with vehicle with MVA and you'll receive a mail to do this
Safety inspection, is that the inspection needed in order to get your two year tags?

If you have a learner's permit, you are required to take the class. Remember a driver aged 21 or older has to be by your side always and has to be the one to sign the record note each time you record hours.
