No, you can still go in for an inspection without your notice; they can use you plate# + ViN to look it up on their computers. MVA Inspections(ViEP) are required every 2 years; if you haven't received a notice, it wouldn't hurt to go in if it's been almost 2 years since your last inspection(~1 year, 11 months.) It's better than late fees and a possible red flag at the MVA when trying to renew your registration. 🍀

Yes. If you go in for inspection before receiving the notice, the attendant will just tell you to come back when you've received it.

Yes you should get an inspection notice first unless you got one by email
