Hubby and I decided to sleep out. This place is actually called City Center Inn. Very nice check in. The rooms were very clean. Upon resting up my 4yr old noticed something around the toilet. Just happen to see a pool of dried urine at the base, not clean. The night before check out, we brought food for the next morning. Upon waking , I notice a burn/metallic smell and it just happened to be the fridge. OMG! The fridge door was burning hot and all our food and beverages were completely hot and bloated. The fridge went out sometime overnight and we had to discard everything. This caused us to checkout way earlier than expected. Other than that, it's a very quiet and cozy place. Will return💯

Did not stay but great customer service experience! Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel our reservation to this hotel a couple of hours after the cancellation window was over as per the hotels.com rules. I reached out directly to the hotel and spoke to Stephanie at the front desk. She was very polite and understanding of the situation and assured me to that she would not charge the card until her manager (another Stephanie) would confirm the same the next day. Rightfully so both of them helped us out with the situation. Though we never stayed at this hotel, the customer service approach shows that they care for their customers. I will certainly stay there next time when we re-plan our family trip to Newport news!

I travel for work as well as work night shift. With that being said I got a great rate. It was exactly what I asked for. Friendly staff. I sleep during the day and they are respectful about that and let me switch out my towels at my convenience without any trouble at all. The beds are comfortable and it's a great location.
