I've been trying to get my money that is my money back from them for 10 months I called the other day I've called several times since just to find out where my claim is at and I keep getting the runaround I've been told and told and told that they were going to do something but they have not if I could get a hold of the better Business bureau I would have to say something to them because I want my money it's my money.

Very horrible Customer Service. A loved one is incarcerated and I accidentally put stamps for emessaging at Jail he was transferred from, instead of one he transferred into. Emailed Securus about a possible refund of my $10.00 or inquired about their ability to transfer stamps, and was told it's non refundable and they won't transfer them, either! It's too bad these folks are CROOKS! They are an ONLY option, too, for ability to communicate with a loved one in jail or prison as far as I know, too, which makes it difficult to be able to refuse to deal with their company. Mistakes happen. I didn't mean to make this mistake, and I don't have a lot of $$$ to be able to waste like this. Lesson learned. Karma will prevail, as it ALWAYS does, I'm sure......please share with your friends and family members about this shady business!

Takes your money for video visits that don’t work say they will credit your account but account is not credited bad customer service rude employees video is either black or you can’t hear or see the person your visiting 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 credit my account or refund my money for the visit. Employees always hanging up if you don’t like your job don’t work there it’s simple. Yeah we as customers are upset yall taking our money without a problem but we have a problem with using securus app to visit our loved ones

Kristy how do you go about setting up Vonage? I'm interested in that. $9.99 a month is that unlimited or what? Sarina I'm sorry your having a hard time. Its frustrating i know. Securas actually do a good job. I've used them for a lot of different transactions and they have been good.
I was able to speak with one of the manager in Securus, she found the account, but there is no phone number associated with the account to call. If you can send your phone number, will sure get a call back in no time.

I'll echo the previous answer. Not knowing the facility you are trying to get approval for, I can only tell you that Dallas County only took two or three days. So a call to tech support or the jail\prison itself can't hurt.

Securus isn't the company that has access to your funds, CenturyLink is. CenturyLink is also the company with access to friend and family accounts. Securus Tech is tech support for the offenders' physical phones, CenturyLink or Lumen is a phone service company just like AT&T or Spectrum, they just service companies instead of people. Even Securus Billing is just the link between CenturyLink and the TDCJ. So it's literally impossible for the tech company to have done so. Beyond that, CenturyLink is experiencing delays because they're trying to work from home. There's a digital line of people to be registered that they can't handle but are slowly going through. Idk if they're telling people but I've seen 3 month wait times. Also some of the facilities are locked down due to C19 so the offenders'aren't even able to use the phones. Your best bet may be to just wait it out, or contact CenturyLink by phone or at TexasPrisonPhone.com

There would be a delay. There are forms to fill out with TDCJ in order to get a refund, since this company doesn't handle your money at all. You can call to get information, but since Securus is just tech support for the prison phone's, I wouldn't recommend calling them. I can comment again with the form name of you still need it; I believe the funds disappear after a while.
The wardens and officers at the prisons are "cleaning" the phones by dunking them in bleach, and the repair company, Securus, can't keep up with the constant replacements. That's the gist of what's going on; of course there are phones broken because they're banged on or ripped out of the walls, but the majority issue is that the officers at the units won't comply with common sense and stop dipping their electronic handsets in liquid bleach.

I don't work there anymore but go to Securustech.net and do a chat(you don't have to log in and it is the fastest way to get help) you can guess 2 times if wrong, you will have to answer 3 questions I think. When was the account created? The last call? The length of the last call? Last payment? Questions like that.

Each person have account in jail just like prepay account. You can call Customer service to add fund's. Your boyfriend will be able to hear his balance before making his call. I hope this helps you.
