Awesome beach! A little more sand than Lincoln Beach a bit north. Lots of cool rocks and when we went the wind was perfect for kite flying. Nice parking area and restrooms too.

Hidden treasure! Great beach with some rocky areas to explore. Pack a lunch or bring some charcoal to grill. There are a few picnic areas with tables and grills off in wooded areas for some shade. Kid and dog friendly.

Super cute beach area. Great for paddle boarding, swimming, or relaxing. Wasn’t too crowded. Sand, water, and rocks for a variety of exploring. The water wasn’t too wavy or choppy as the boats didn’t come too close. There was a lot of seaweed though. The parking is honor system and I did see people following that which was nice.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 "𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁" 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 Today was the day we were going to the beach. We were very excited, we'd done all the prep work, we drove over 2 hours, and when we arrive there is a new sign that says No Dogs on the Beach. We were devastated. We read the reviews about how dog friendly it was. One review even included a picture of the on-site park sign rules, which only stated "dogs must be on leash". We read the state park website and didn't see anything stating no dogs on the beach. We even paid $10 to get in like the sign instructed (we actually over paid because we didn't have a smaller bill). Yet we saw no one else who drove in pay the "honor system" drop box. It's incredibly frustrating when state/county parks can't clearly and effectively communicate their rules on their websites. We thankfully had a beautiful drive, did a little site seeing, had a picnic, and turned our day around. However, we were so looking forward to a relaxing day in the sand. We are totally fine with following the rules. Just communicate them in a clear manner on your website so folks don't drive 2 hours to go to what they thought was a dog friendly place.

Yes
There are outhouses down in the parking lot by the beach.
I'm not sure. Was 1st time there they're not open till after Memorial Day online it says closed but still can go in if gate is locked. It's 3 dollars to get in when there are open.
The park is open memorial day to labor day. It is still okay, though, to visit the beach after labor day. You just have to park outside the gate (but don't block it). You can walk in.
The gates at the end of the road will probably be closed at 7, but that doesn't stop people from walking down.
