We had the time of our life . Very nice kept and neat . All areas well maintained. Everyone was kind and friendly. Loved the Environment for my kids . The splash pad was so great and safe. We will be back

Our visit happened in the winter and the lake levels were really low. But this is a wonderful park for fisherman and boaters. The park has bath houses, laundry facilities, cabins, super sites, primitive sites that are wooded and secluded. We were not so close to our neighbors and plenty of room to keep from disturbing them. There were many families in the park that were preparing for Christmas dinner. The park is rather secluded but we took the hour’s drive to the gulf coast and 20 min drive to eat Mediterranean food in Hattiesburg. Our site had sewer, water and electricity. The pad was asphalt but it was crumbling and we had to be careful exiting our camper. It was quit a drop down. There is a very nice visitor’s center that we frequented and a boat dock near the visitor center. Don’t forget your fishing license. We saw the park ranger but not the camp host but it was winter and close to Christmas.

Clean park, reasonable prices, they don't do refunds they do credit vouchers good for any Mississippi state park. 3 on site workers (they live on the property). Office hours 8-5, 7 days a week. Excellent place for a picnic or family outing. 6 rentable pavillions

It was nice for the price, but the conditions of the cabins have a lot to be desired. No working light in one bedroom or the back patio area the first time, when they came to replace the patio light they just gave me one regular light bulb instead of the spotlights like the other cabins had and we still couldn't really see outside, so we didn't get to spend as much time outside as we wanted at night. Holes in the walls and doors, toilet barely flushed, etc. But it seemed clean and a good value when traveling from out of state to come see family but still need to house a bunch of people.🤣 I'll probably be back, just will need to bring my own pillows next time!

I'm not sure but if you call they will have an answer
Yes, but they must be kept on a leash at all times. You can not have them while camping in a tent or cabins.
Not sure the acreage, but there is now than enough for fishing and water skiing without disturbing each other. Intact, the high speed play area is marked off to keep interference down for kayakers and such
There are some fun zones, you can book the spot but I advise you if are you not going to pick session you don't need to do that, you would find enough empty places to roam around.
$35- $110 per night depending on size. Not ooen now though. Call 601-582-7721
Yep, they don't lack nature trails that are perfect for biking. Beautiful scenery through the woods.
Most cabins have 2 beds. The cottages are the same.
In Ms. I was told persons over 65 are exempt from needing fishing license. Only need I.D. showing over 65 * for fresh water fishing...
I'm pretty sure i saw it on the sign while entering.
Look on the backside of the dam where the water comes out of the drain and not the spillway. There you'll find on right side a place you can sit down and catch a stringer full. Good luck!
Keep calling
No around 80 a night and the have 2 different bedroom and big walk in shower a den and a full kitchen
I think so. Think there's crappie and bass
I haven't seen any snakes although I'm sure they are there. No bear except the wooden ones! 😊
Don't know, some sites up front were close to each other but we were in the hundreds which were spread out more.
Yes, if you bring a camper, RV, or tent. Pets are not allowed in the cabins.
Yes but you have to buy a day pass for $2.00 per person. Children under 5 are free
They start at 100 a night. They also have 2 2 bedroom trailers as well
I don't fish, but there were quite a few people out fishing. Don't know if they were having any luck. Great park overall.
Looks like about 18 feet according to this depth chart. https://www.mdwfp.com/media/250302/geiger_lake.pdf
Tent sites don't have power but you can reserve a any site with power and tent camp
30 about
If I remember correctly they are near the tent camping area bathrooms.

$4 per vehicle and 50 cents per person if more than 6 people. Source: https://www.mdwfp.com/parks-destinations/state-parks/paul-b-johnson/#:~:text=Johnson%20State%20Park%20the%20perfect%20place%20to%20spend%20a%20football%20weekend.&text=A%20day-use%20entry%20fee,per%20person%20over%206%20people.
Not sure if it's open right now due to lockdown.
Yes absolutely! Pets are welcome on a leash.
No gate. Just a honor box.
I think or maybe per car
Yes in the bunk houses and in the cabins. I believe they have bathrooms near the swimming area.
Senior citizens camp for $17 a night. $24 per night is the regular rate for full hook ups.
It's around $85 per night, but I reccomend you call to Park for accurate information.
Longest I've seen out there is probably 28 or 30 feet
I suggest calling. They were very responsive when we visited.

Yes. On paved roads.also golf carts.
I do not know sorry
Campfire ok no fire rings
You can go on the site and look to find out for sure, but i went camping a few weeks ago and it was about $ 24's a night for full hook up and you pay per for how ever many nights you stay . Now I'm not sure how they work special holiday's. But let me tell you one thing for sure if you think about going to buccaneer state Park you better get ready to spend some money , before you even start camping
Yes
I like aggressive sports. I just became interested. Nice park,5 lb frisbee, and i like swimming. Hangin out with my nephew and brothers is a perk. Make it so number 1.
Up to 4 people in a car is $4.00. $1.00 per additional passenger.
On my last visit earlier this month I asked about rentals. I was advised there are no rentals of any kind.
No that don't give you a list..but any were with a dam is Corp of engineer
A few years ago they had a sign on their office building stating they do have alligators but they will not bother you.
I think it's six dollars for four people per car per day. As Mr. Sabtab said there is no extra fee. If not a weekend you can get a license at the park. If closed any walmart will sell you a license.
25 for the rv sites. I dont know what the rate is for primitive. The rv sites have water and electricity and are close to the bath houses. The primitive is of course less. Only problem i have with the primitive sites is the bath houses are a good distance.
Larry is correct, and so is extreme pirate! Last but certainly not least we have Christina Broome who spews the truth. Im out here tent camping in an RV spot. Why? Proximity to bath houses. And proximity to the lake. We have kayaks and arent afraid to use them. When are you coming out here Jacoryiah? There is so much more to this place than what we just told you. If saddled with children they have swimming areas that are swim at your own risk. They also have the splash pad that you pay a little extra for. You get a lot of bang for your buck here. Hope to see you out here one day!
Yes they had directtv at the one we stayed at! No wifi though..you can bring clothes and i would recommend groceries if you're staying for a few days. Our cabin had a fridge and stove plus utensils But we had to grab groceries
