Location It's not correct on Google maps and place isn't easy to find. Tried calling for directions but no one would answer the phone. I will update my review once I see and speak to staff

Dr Sedhain is really good doctor . He care about the patient and he wants to help the patient to be better. I’m so glad I was able to see this doctor and was able to cure my sickness .

Does anyone ever answer the phone? Or know how to get ahold of anyone?

You don't need an appointment but to do intake and to be seen that day you have to go up there at 7:30 a.m. to wait in line. I was there at 7:30 and was like number 11th in line. 😕 I was there til 3 pm. I would suggest bringing phone charger and books or journaling. That's what I did to make time go by quickly. Also pack a lunch. They do have a food and drink vending machine there.
Sorry, but I don't think there is. Willie is right. You should give them a call and see.
No they do not offer a food pantry. Metrocare is a Psych Clinic for children and adults. But they can tell you who can help. And they do offer case counselors.
They do NOT give medication on the first visit for new patients. Regardless if you have been seen by a doctor outside of the Metrocare system. On the first visit you must qualify for their clinic, have a way to pay (even if the state is covering the bill) and fill out your medical and psych history. They also give you a case worker on this visit and set you appointments for the second visit. On the second visit you will be evaluated by their doctor and then you can get meds (if prescribed by the doctor) at the clinic pharmacy. All walk-ins must be there when they open. I would suggest being there by 7 am Monday-Friday, some days there are lines. They only see a set number of walk-ins per day. Expect to be there the entire day. All scheduled appointments come first. Walk-ins are fit in between the appointments, filling in the no-show and cancellation time slots.
1. Human being don't get better/clients 2. MetroCare those not want to waste resources/Time/food stamps/limit space/others 3.Staff don't have the proper training/ staff also don't care about Clients/ Not enough money to hire more staff Patients
This isn't true. A new client would have to go over their financial obligations. Right now I only have disability as my source of income and I don't pay for any services rendered. My husband is also on disability. They do, however, go by household income and not just the client's income.
Yes you can.. Do a walk in and be there at least by 7am Mon-fri. They only take so many walk ins each day...
The phones go to an answering system that is checked every morning. If you leave a message they assume the issue was taken care of the previous day. If your trying to call to reschedule leave a message. If it something urgent call the clinic pharmacy and ask to be transfered to the front desk. And as for the issue of bus passes. NO, Metrocare Clinics do NOT give bus passes. They only get 4 a year from DART. those are for emergency cases. So please dont ask.
The easiest way to make an appointment is to call the pharmacy then ask to be transfered to the front desk. Then ask to make an appointment. But I do not think they make first time appointments any more. You have to do a walk-in Monday-Friday at 7am. And expect to be there all day. Walk-ins are fit in to no show and cancellation time slots.
No They are closed
Call the office to confirm
It is first come - first serve. If your going for financial appointment get there as early as possible. For medical or psychological appointment 7:30 - 8:00 works. Keep in mind demand vs supply. When demand is high but supply is low wait times can be excessive, especially since they have been forced to close metro offices.
Talk to your caseworker and Dr. to set up the tranfer and it may take a couple of weeks. You will need income proof 8 weeks to be safe. Take a copy of your lease and current Texas id and s.s.i. card. Hope this transfer
Metrocare Clinics take walk-ins when they open the doors. However, they only see a set number of people as Walk-ins. Some days they have a lot of people tying to do walk-in. The best advice is to be there Monday-Friday at 7 am. All walk-ins are fit into the no-show or cancelled time slots. So be prepared to be there all day. New patients that are walk-in get a case worker, have to fill out medical and psych histories, do financials to see if you qualify and get appointments for your next visits. Second visit you see a doctor for evaluation and if necessary receive prescriptions. The prescriptions can be used at the Clinic Pharmacy or a pharmacy of your choice.
Metrocare Clinics accept Medicare, Medicaid, QMB, some private insurances and Northstar (a federal program to help pay for psych care for people who need help).
Yes it's for the mentally ill. You can also have the kids seen for things like add and adhd.
