Metrocare Clinics take walk-ins when they open the doors. However, they only see a set number of people as Walk-ins. Some days they have a lot of people tying to do walk-in. The best advice is to be there Monday-Friday at 7 am. All walk-ins are fit into the no-show or cancelled time slots. So be prepared to be there all day. New patients that are walk-in get a case worker, have to fill out medical and psych histories, do financials to see if you qualify and get appointments for your next visits. Second visit you see a doctor for evaluation and if necessary receive prescriptions. The prescriptions can be used at the Clinic Pharmacy or a pharmacy of your choice.
