I don't know if there are hotels near Epic, but outside of DFW airport there are quite a few hotels of various prices from the cheapest of 50 dollars a night. To get to Epic from hotels outside the airport, the Lyft costs around $ 20 and takes about 25 minutes to get there.

They are advertised as open year-round, and with the pricing for any day may change based on availability and date, that would make sense as to why you are not able to book far in advance. When you look at the various of dates that you are able to buy for now, you'll notice different prices depending on the date selected.

It is suggested that you buy tickets online as they still have a limited number of people in the park. If you want to go during the week you will have no problem just arriving without a ticket purchased online. If you want to go on a weekend then it is better to buy online. It is also good to note that prices change depending on the day you are planning to go. During the week (Monday-Thursday) it is cheaper.

There is an awesome kid area where supervised crawlers and up can play. The water is warm there and lots of kiddie slides, water cannons, and a huge water pail dumps water on everyone every 15mins or so.

My family received one VIP pass after having my kid's birthday party at Epic Waters. The VIP pass is just free admission for one person on a day of your choice. That's all that you get for certain. But we also got a $4 arcade card when we redeemed it but I'm not sure if that's standard.

That happened to us yesterday. They were sold out online the night before so we called the park that morning and they said there's a maximum amount they can sell online but we could come to the park and buy at the door but should get there asap because they said people had started lining up already since air 8:15am & the park didn't even open until 10am. We got there about 10:05 and they said they were already full but we could put our names on the waiting list. They gave us a 2-3 hour window, took our info. and put into an IPad & told us to watch for text updates when we'd be next in line & said we could enjoy activities right next door at their Rec Center or do a lil shopping down the street at the strip mall, Ikea or Walmart. We chose to do the latter lol. But anyway, instead of a 2-3 hour wait. It ended up only being an hour & 40 mins. altogether. Once we got our text that it was almost our turn, we headed right back & by the time we parked it said it was our turn!! 🤗

There has to be a limit based on the life safety code. The fire marshal can close a business for owercrowding. It should be posted near the entrance. This place is pretty large though. Usually if they are close to capacity they hold people until others leave. Overcrowding in the pool areas could lead to a drowning going undetected.
