There is an awesome kid area where supervised crawlers and up can play. The water is warm there and lots of kiddie slides, water cannons, and a huge water pail dumps water on everyone every 15mins or so.
48 inches, I believe for some rides. But, they have the wave pool outside and the lazy river in indoors if your child is not tall enough to ride anything
