What about drops. Our Boston took 6 months of drops but her eye healed.
You can surrender an animal cost free. Call in the morning and make an appointment, as it's illegal to just leave the dog by the door or anything. I'm sorry your having to let the dog go. I'm sure that O.K. will take good care of the pup.
Give them away!!!!
That's something you would want to contact Operation Kindness about. Sorry
I'm looking for a dog. How old are the two?
You can request a receipt here: http://www.r2s-tx.com/TaxReceipt.asp. Thank you!
I'm sorry but I really don't know. You should call them tomorrow. Maybe they will know of an rabbit rescue group.
You can bring the dog to operation kindness. It is a no kill shelter. They adopt out animals.
You can call us at 972-418-7297
You will need to call them to ask. The local guides here won't be able to answer this. Good luck!
No reservations I'm aware of. Call them maybe they can help you somehow.
Give Operation Kindness a call. If they cannot take her they may be able to help you place her in a foster home until they do. God bless and good luck! Also take all the food and belongings to donate to them.
Operation Kindness must be called directly for an answer. This is just a local q&a site only. Good luck and God bless!
I think they do.. But there might be a waiting list if they do not have room
Hi Danny. Our adoption fee for dogs is $185 and includes vet exam, vaccinations, heart worm prevention/treatment, spay/neuter surgery and microchip. Operation Kindness receives no government funding so we rely on adoption fees and donations to fund medical care and other operations.
Please see the surrender page on our web site for the information you need.
They do have kittens :) but like with dogs, they go fast so I'd suggest you get there early since its first come first serve.
Hi Carol. Yes, I still have puppies to give away ( they are 3 weeks old). Thank you for asking.
Under the age of 18 must volunteer with adult supervision. So if you're 14 you can volunteer if you have a parent or someone of legal age volunteering with you
Love to have them, thank you!!
Not sure. But call them. They will know the answer and they will allow as many volunteers as they can get.
Sorry I am not sure
More than likely
Call operation kindness to see if they have room. Also do an internet search for put pitbull rescues.
I'm so sorry for your loss. They have a donation box in the parking lot
You have to check online for available pets
I just got the best kitty from Operation Kindness!! Thanks for what you do!
Yes, most pets can be taken home the same day that they are adopted!
I would recommend calling a wildlife rehab center. Here is some info for Dallas County: https://tpwd.texas.gov/huntwild/wild/rehab/list/counties/index.phtml?id=57&county=Dallas
If you check the website, it stays pretty updated with current available animals.
YES
Try asking on the nextdoor app if anyone wants her or look at Cody's friends rescue. Please don't send her to a kill shelter. Hold on until OK has space or a different rescue can take her
Talk to Julie Goff there. Tell her your situation. Maybe they could also help find a foster home until you are able to get things back to normal and then take the dog back. Most dogs establish a routine so they can hopefully help minimize the disruption experienced by the animal.
Call them. They will usually take them if there is room.
Operation Kindness does take owner surrendering.
I don't think they do that for your personal animal. Try TCAP.
Perhaps
Yes they took my 10 year old lab and he didn't have his shots and he had an ear infection, but he got adopted and everything. Hope that helps.
At the moment i don't have either one of them. Iam sorry
You just need to take him to Operation Kindness
They will take them and find them good homes.
They will give you a little of food. You can buy more at Petco.
From their website: I found a stray animal and would like to bring it in. What do I do? It is important to take the animal to the correct municipal shelter. The animal’s family will be looking in the area where the animal was lost. This gives the animal the best chance of finding its family. Thank you for helping this animal! Just because a facility is not a no-kill shelter, does not mean that the animal will be euthanized. Operation Kindness transfers weekly from surrounding shelters, as do many other rescues. If the animal you have found is not reunited with its family or adopted by another family, it could be transferred to Operation Kindness or another rescue. The animal will be scanned for a microchip and if one is found, the owners will be notified.
Call and ask them
You can volunteer to work with animals. No fee required
Hi Janie. We have a $135 adoption fee for kittens and cats. The adoption fee helps pay for some of the expenses we incur caring for the animals such as a veterinary physical exam, vaccinations, heart worm treatment/preventative, lab tests to ensure they don't have any ailments plus micro-chipping. Please know that we save the lives of many animals that would be euthanized at other places because they don't have the medical resources to treat their injuries or illnesses. We rely on adoption fees and generous donations to help us with these medical expenses. I hope you'll visit and meet some of our precious kittens.
Call them! If they don't respond, try to take her to a vet and tell them it's a stray, and that you can't pay for any work done. Also, they should be able to check for a chip that may identify her as a pet.
No hamsters; we focus our rescue efforts on dogs and cats.
We can't guarantee they are potty trained, but we can share with you our observations about their behavior, like do they keep their kennel clean and know to do their business outside.
Hi. Our medical services are for the homeless animals we rescue. We don't offer vet services to the general public.
The vast majority of people who "work" there are volunteer.
18 years old
I did 40 hours of community service there and only ever did I see dogs (ftw) and cats (ftl) but like the above poster said they might be able to point you in the right direction. You have Google info about the tortoise right? Like I personally have no idea. But maybe they can be a pet then live feral and be just fine. Or maybe you could make a Next door account, it's like a message board and neighborhood hub app for a neighborhood, and check and see if anyone is missing a pet. If not you could post you found one.
Give them a call for assistance. I have never seen anything other than cats and dogs but they may have an area in the back that isnt accessible to the public. If not they may be able to refer you to someone else. Good luck!
Hi Tracey, we welcome children but their parents must volunteer with them. Our objective is to keep animals and humans safe so we provide volunteer training on key processes like safely extricating a dog from a kennel, proper dog walking and what to do when you encounter another dog. There is more information on our web site.
Volunteers can come in at any time from 7am until 30 minutes after they close for the day.
Tracey, we're a 24/7 operation and volunteers enjoy helping us throughout the day/week with many tasks. I suggest you check our web site for more information and our applications.
The Operation Kindness Pet Food Pantry is located at 3953 Belt Line Rd, Addison. Food distribution takes place noon-3 p.m. every Thursday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. the first and third Saturday of each month. An application is required.
Animals change all the time. There is an online display of the animals available.
You can call the Dallas Animal shelter, Operation Kindness or the Spca. They will be able to help :) i hope the kitty finds a good home
If you call them, they will tell you what to do.
Yes you can adopt a pet from operation kindness in Carrollton if you meet the criteria
Operation Kindness off Earhart in Carrollton will take the kitties. Explain to them situation. Hope this helps u!
They have rescue crews that pu animals but the majority I believe take the animals to the shelter. Call them and they will tell you
Check Operation Kindness website.
You will have to call the center with your question. Googlers would not know this. Good luck! That is if you are still in need. 😀
Yes, they update the website daily
I would contact Dallas cat lady. They have a Facebook page. I would send them a message
Operation Kindness is a no kill shelter that will take great care of him.
