Hi Tracey, we welcome children but their parents must volunteer with them. Our objective is to keep animals and humans safe so we provide volunteer training on key processes like safely extricating a dog from a kennel, proper dog walking and what to do when you encounter another dog. Please call OK and speak with them regarding volunteers. It is a long training process before they actually put them to work. Last time I was there I saw 2 large groups of children being trained. Good luck and God bless you for volunteering!
