I just moved to Princeton Court and it's a blessing to be here. First of all, I have noticed that the management has a great vision for this community. Every detail of this apartment complex is deliberate and well thought of. The quiteness and cleanliness is compared to none. Even the trash bins are covered with fence just to keep them out of sight. As for the interior, I can't ask for more. All the AC units are working very well, the kitchen is just too up to date and clean , the carpets are so clean and the list goes on. Moving on to the staff at the leasing office, they're the best. They are wonderful people. Working with Brianna, Dali, and Araceli was an awesome experience. They're very respectful, caring, helpful, and approachable. Just from interacting with the staff you can tell that the owner of this apartment complex is ready to go above and beyond to make this environment great. The vision of this apartment complex can be seen in every detail of it. I usually don't write long reviews, but my heart is just filled with joy and I thought it could help someone else. I have already started recommending this community to my friends. It's a blessing to be here.

Just moved in. I will edit the review at a later date if I have anything to add. I read the reviews before renting and asked about all of the complaints they were kind enough to address all of my questions and did not get hostile. I asked specifically for the AC side and they accommodated that request. I inquired about the car policy, I drive a 2012 model sedan that has a few minor blemishes, they told me that their policy was for major damages and rust, things that should actively be repaired as well as wearing paint. The reasoning the owner has is "If you aren't going to take care of your vehicle how can they trust you to take care of your apartment." If you take issue with the policy I'd suggest looking elsewhere because I doubt it will change. The apartment I got was clean and I've not seen any sign of infestation, they do pest control. I believe my biggest disappointment would be the fact that the smaller apartments do not have laundry hookups, which is completely my own preference and doesn't apply to my particular situation as I knew what I was getting. I could give some glowing or scathing review but I feel like giving the facts is better because that is why people read reviews. If I encounter anything abnormal or exceptional I will edit this review to include it. I hope those who read it find it informative and helpful and good luck in their apartment search. Overall it's an apartment in Dallas in a very good location if you work in the north of the city. The pricing is good if you aren't making money hand over fist and my personal beliefs are you should keep your expectations within your budget, Which I have and I am satisfied with the result.

Annual Update: I’ve lived here for over 4 years in 3 units. There are still some of the friendliest neighbors and staff in Vickery here. This review is not meant to be hurtful to anyone. It is meant to help manage new resident’s expectations and help the management make more informed choices. Unfortunately, the staff is usually understaffed so they seem overworked and we’ve seen high turnover every year. This leads to inconsistencies in maintenance response time and new staff having to learn about the same problems again and again. As with most places in this area the roaches and rats are common. It does not seem to matter how clean we keep our place, which unit we are in, or how many times pest control come, the roaches just keep coming back, but the cleaner you keep the place the less roaches you have to deal with so that is nice. Pest control did finally get rid of the rats in our unit. These are old buildings so most residents I speak with deal with leaks regularly and some have had third parties confirm mold in their unit. Many people’s pipes seem to regularly get clogged with debris and they have to turn the water off to flush it out of the unit so water shut offs are frequent, but are usually done during normal business hours to minimize inconvenience. This is another reason we recommend getting a filter for your tap. Utilities $122/month have continued to increase rapidly. I love that I can pay and submit maintenance requests online! The grounds and landscaping are well maintained here and my wife and I enjoy walking around our complex more because of it. One of the unique downsides of living here, that you will not find at most properties, is their unreasonable “vehicle appearance policy”. To summarize the policy, your car cannot have any visible damage of any kind. To live here you are require to give them the right to tow your car at your expense if there is even the tiniest scratch or ding. Over the years I’ve gotten several friendly reminders (see below picture) of this policy, threatening to tow my vehicle in 24 hours if I did not get my vehicle into compliance within 24 hours. While they have never actually towed my car it is not fun wondering each time if this time they will. While I understand the owner’s desire to have residents all adhere to a standard appearance that the whole community can enjoy, this policy is especially hypocritical when the gates are often broken, left open. There is not enough security to monitor all the vehicles regularly so the owner has not provided an environment where we residents can expect their cars will be protected from vandalism while on the property. In four years living here I have woken up to find my car vandalized 5 times. I don’t like it either, but I know it comes with living in a poor area like ours in an apartment complex with broken gates and minimal security. Even if the gates and security were improved the standards of the owner in regards to vehicle appearance would still be unreasonable. It is unreasonable to expect any group of imperfect humans to maintain perfect looking vehicles, but even more unreasonable to expect a poor community like ours, consisting of many refugees to all own cars that do not have a scratch on them. Many of us can only afford to buy cars that already have few scratches and dings. It would make more sense to have a policy that allows for minor visible damage so that residents will not worry if their car will be towed because some kids decide to run on the top of cars at night. As for A/C and heating make sure you understand the difference between a unit on the “chiller” system and one that is not. They are very different. The gym has some usable equipment, but few and often some are broken. Laundry is about $4-$5 a load and there is usually plenty available. I am happy to report that most of the machines seem to work as advertised now. We used to have clothes ruined, but no damaged clothes in the last year! I still think it is not the worst option if you want to live in Vickery Meadows.
