People were respectful. Camp sites were good size.

Had the worst experience. Never ever gonna come back here again. Sorry to say but the old folks run this place. We tried to check out but a little behind and they tried to lock our RV and not Allow us to take our Rv out doesn’t make sense. The treatment wasn’t professional at all. Never recommend or ever gonna come back to this place. There’s other better camp grounds to Go to. Tried this place one time and never gonna come back. Only my wife and I stayed here and the old staff is not really friendly. They need to fire them and rehire professional or trained attendance if they want to get returning customers. Good luck if you book this place.

They only have an online form or a text message phone number for customer service. I texted the number thinking I'd get a faster response, but haven't received any. Although the reservation website asks if you are military or have an access pass (which gives a substantial discount for park campgrounds), they don't apply the discount to your check out price. Thanks, but no thanks.

There are no employees at the check in booth, and no way to find them unless you luck into seeing one drive by. This is a problem, as the campers here have, in the last week, partied until after midnight loudly, hooked up hoses to public faucets, let dogs run loose, ran generators too early and too late, and walked through every campsite here, instead of using the roads. It a lawlessness, and miserable for anybody who is not inconsiderate. Large sites, beautiful area, horrible experience. Stay away.

After 4th. Of July. Or after labor Day weekend. If you can swing it with kids school time.
Yes they are
All of the tent sites were closed 2 weeks ago.
Does this has a lunching rump?...yes! How many people by site ?...6 people Do I need reservation? ....yes !
We went 3 weeks ago and it was open. You had to have a reservation. They weren't letting anyone one else camp unless you had a prior reservation.
No
You would have to call.
36 or 46 dollars
May be a place in the area. Call and ask.
Not sure but imagine so if you're on a campsite
Not at the campsite. They only have RV, tents, and very small cabins at the campsite for rent.
I doubt it. Thinking you would need to call. Kind of long Maybe you can rent two spots.
It has some cots and hooks on the wall.
Same as the lake- about 6,220 feet.
There was a small RV right in the next campsite right next to us.. but I believe the larger RVs are in a separate spot.
Yes
Yes, but the campground might be full, especially on weekends and close to holidays. If it is full there is normally a camground full sign at the gate. If you come in after hours: taken sites are marked at each site with reservation; the date the occupied site leaves; or site occupied.
Yes just bring your own fire wood unless you want to buy it in the campground for $7
They even sell wood for the camp fire
I have seen a (few) spots and several three axle toy haulers there over the years. Best luck would be in the C,D, and E loops which are dry camping with scattered water to refill your tank.
Wifi is rubbish but 4g is good there. Lots of really big sites the reservation guide has recommended max vehicle sizes. It's a good campground.
Not a question
Concerts have been going for about a month I believe, as stated there is very little sand, however the boat launch is fully operational and South Tahoe Standup Paddle is still located at El Dorado Beach.
$65/nite summer rates
Tent cabins
last autumn was 40$ / night
Reservation can be made at Reserve America website. Search for Campground by the Lake. Has all rates and availability.
You'll have to either call them or look on their website
Yes there are showers they're not coin operated part of your camping fee. No on bear locker as its in town so you don't need them.
Everything.
Reserve America website and search for campground by the lake.
In the national forrest you can camp for free as long as you are 100m off the road. Watchout for bears.
Don't see why not. Lake is just across the street from the campground
Anyone can go there. Often fills up so book online before you go.
