Amazing campground. Campground from 80to 97 are very near the vista point. Just few steps and the view is simply amazing. From campground 65 there is a quick way to reach the beach too. We visit in summer and hence it was simply fun to play in the cold water . Each campground is really really spacious.

I don't believe the showers have hot water and the tokens used to operate them were only sold at certain shower buildings elsewhere in the campgrounds. These machines only take bills. The personnel at the campground entrance are not very knowledgeable. The park rangers were a little abrasive towards us on their evening lap about our coolers not being in the bear lockers at all times. That didn't make sense when the whole campground was up and about.

Didn’t make a reservation but the ranger was very helpful accommodating us on short notice! Very nice mix of both Lake and woods, recommend 10/10

They have pretty strict dog rules but last time I was there i saw several people not following them. Refer to their website for details.
It's under Emerald Bay Campground!
No. But you can check if they have cancellation on first come first serve basis. There appears to no longer be any first come first serve campgrounds in the Tahoe basin
It is about a half mile walk to the beach. It is a well maintained trail so if you go at your own pace it's not bad.

South lake Tahoe.
Site 88 is the best site for tent camping. Best to reserve in 6 months in advance, but definitely worth it!

Yes.
First come, first served.
There are no cabins at this campground. Try Fallen Leaf Campground.
You could ask them, no?
There are spots but you should call the campground for the site #'s
No
I believe it's open all year but go to the State Parks website for dates
No family campsite but they are close together
I think the lowest is $17, highest is $30 per night.
You would need to go online to the State parks website, find the campground you want and then check to see if any spots are available for that date
Yes
Yes, In California the rangers check number of people, cars, and dates. They are ever present in nearly every state park.
