Fountain Creek Regional Park has great amenities and is conveniently located off highway 85/87 in Fountain, CO. Gorgeous views, nice pavilions with grills - great for group gatherings, clean bathrooms, a nice walking path around the ponds, lots of green space, sand volleyball courts, a dog park area, and a fun playground for kids of all ages. Feel like taking a hike? Just outside of the park area you will find trails that connect along Fountain creek. Such a gem to have available. Hike along the creek to Fountain Creek Nature Center.

Great playgrounds, pavilions, well kept trails that take you by creek and lake, with plenty of open space for football and frisbee.

Great park to walk laps around! I love that they added a dog park section. The views are nice and it is pretty well maintained. There are trails connected to it and includes a nature center. Fishing is allowed in Willow Springs Pond.

Great little area to hang out and fish. There's a playground for the kids to play on. There are gazeebos for get together. There is a trail to walk or run and areas to fish. There are restrooms but they're about as clean as you can expect at a park. We've seen a lot of really fat squirrels there too 😂😂😂 Someone's definitely feeding those suckers. They're pretty plump.and happy looking and if you're not careful they'll actually sneak right up on you when you least expect it. There are sometimes some sketchy people hanging out there especially in the wooded area near the overpass but we have never had any issues. Lots of kids and families.

Yes you can reserve one or more Pavilions with El Paso County
No cabins, but you can rent s pavilion for a party. Reservations on county website
Yeah
Yes, both. Grills at the park, ponds everywhere!
I guess if you prefer to be awake in the night since they are closed from 11pm to 5am- so you can't be in the park or the parking lot.
It's the front near the entrance on the can am highway side
Park is free no overnight never tried fishing
Yes there are.
You can fish at the willow springs ponds, which are north of the nature center, easy walk from the Duckwood Rd. entrance. You can also have dogs on leashes, but there is a loop that prohibits dogs because of the delicate foliage and wildlife. That is only a small area of the park, though. P. S. There's a dog park (fenced in area) located behind the big pond at the main entrance!
Absolutely. You'll find lots of pet owners bring their dogs to walk or run the trails. Great place to take your pet.
Depending which route you take, one is longer, they are both longer than a mile. There's a sign that let's you know.
They aren't out in the open up front. We need a map of this place. Been going there for the playground and nature trails out back, never seen the horseshoe pits.
You don't need to.
You can not fish in the regional park itself, but just a little way to the north is Willow Springs. There are two ponds to fish in. Fishing here should probably be for sport only. The water is fed by a watershed that has had dangerous chemicals in it. I would suggest catch, photograph, and return to the water. There are Catfish - big ones - as well as stocked Trout, Bluegill, and Bass to be caught, but again, those nasty chemicals. I watched a guy catch a 17 pound Cat in Pond #2. It is about 14 feet deep in the middle.
No, no power to any pavilions at Fountain Creek.
You need to go to the El Paso County website that is on the page before this one and it will vary based on the size of the Pavilion and the time of year you're wanting to reserve the Pavilion.
The Park House Rules there is a sign
No fishing here, but there is another double pond just north of the park. You can fish there.
Unfortunately not but it is handicap friendly. Wheelchairs, bicycles, and strollers have no issue's on the trail
NO. ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ON A LEASH...BUT WHEN THE PARK IS NOT CROWED PEOPLE LET THERE DOGS RUN.
