You can not fish in the regional park itself, but just a little way to the north is Willow Springs. There are two ponds to fish in. Fishing here should probably be for sport only. The water is fed by a watershed that has had dangerous chemicals in it. I would suggest catch, photograph, and return to the water. There are Catfish - big ones - as well as stocked Trout, Bluegill, and Bass to be caught, but again, those nasty chemicals. I watched a guy catch a 17 pound Cat in Pond #2. It is about 14 feet deep in the middle.
When you purchase a fishing license they will tell you where you can and cannot fish
Yes but theres not much to fish for
Yes
I've fished at both ponds near the Love's station. I know you're allowed because we were asked for our fishing license on two separate occasions.
No just the ponds north of the park.
I didn't think you could fish at the pond at the park itself, but you can at Willow Springs ponds just north of the park.
