After speaking with Jonathon Cash via phone and e-mail, I made the colossal mistake of thinking that Goodwill was actually going to help me take classes to better myself. When I showed up, I met with Jennifer Hodges who had no intention of helping me. She couldn't understand why I would want to take pharmacy tech classes or lpn or rn classes. Not everyone qualifies for financial aid at a community college. That's why they reach out to a program such as Goodcare. Like everything else, they're only interested in helping drug addicts. But someone like me who became homeless because they lost a job during covid, is currently working and trying to better themselves, they have no interest.

Awesome people. Really great place helping people get jobs and helping people go to school.The good start reentry program for people coming home from recently being incarcerated is definatly worth looking into if you want to change you life and take back control of your life

No matter what you are in need of, or the area you live in, Goodwill industries help. Whether you need work clothes, play clothes or just kick around clothes, check Goodwill. I remember when I my child was small, play clothes were expensive, and being a normal little boy, I found great play clothes for him at Goodwill. And now that he is working, and his job is in metal, working with and around welders, burn and tore T-shirts, and jeans, got expensive. So Goodwill was a great place to get great work clothes for less money.

Go to goodwillvalleys.com. Click on the "Work at Goodwill" tab. It's easiest to search for positions by location. Enter Bedford into the location search, and then look for open positions at that store.

No. The Goodwill there is a work place for people with disabilities. It also has classrooms for computer training.
Are you trying to put in application for job training at Goodwill? Or, are you looking for the Va. Employment Commission?
Goodwill is currently hiring. They help with a lot of job training.
