This was the location for our child's & my work's service project. Our team cleaned the kennels and laundry room.

Questions & Answers

How? Do I just go to my doctor and say I need a service ok this place and boom done or?

..No. First of all, if you genuinely need a service dog, you discuss it with your doctor and make sure that there isn’t a better option. Then, do research on which breed would be best for you, what tasks they’ll need to know, the laws in your area (federal and state laws if you live in the u.s) and how much money you’ll need to save up for gear, training, and supplies you’ll need (which is a lot of money). After that, you and your service dog will go through training for most likely about 1-2 years before they can be considered fully trained and that’s if they don’t wash and even then you’ll need to constantly refresh their training.

How long is the service dog course at St. Francis and what is the cost?

Saint Francis Service Dogs does not charge for a service dog. Each of their dogs goes through a training process that lasts approximately 2 years.
