Dr. Chae has been my doctor for 16+ years. She is quite simply the best primary care physician I have ever had. She listens. She knows me. She applies her vast knowledge and skill with precision. She keeps current and knows to refer to the best specialists when needed. Without a lot of personal detail, it is a fact that Dr. Chae saved my life when I encountered a most serious diagnosis years ago.

I wish I could say I enjoyed my experience with Dr. Chae, but she was one of the worst doctor's I have seen. I went to her because I had been diagnosed with PCOS, and my general physician recommended her. All she did was tell me to lose weight and go on birth control. She spent maybe ten minutes with me, and blamed all of my symptoms on my weight. Yes, I am overweight, but if she had even listened to me she would have known I have hashimato's thyroiditis, which is an autoimmune disease, and Cushing's disease, both make it extremely hard to lose weight. I will never, EVER, see her again even if she is the last doctor available in SoCal. Do not go to her if you have PCOS, because she is just another doctor that will shove birth control at you and tell you to lose the weight, when there are other options besides a contraceptive. She was dismissive, fatphobic, and just a bad doctor. Her receptionist was the only pleasant part of my experience in that office, she was an extremely kind woman, unlike her employer.
