Went in to grab laundry soap, bleach, fabric softner... The lines were long and getting longer. Only 2 registers open.. Like really!!!... Your cashiers need to be on the ball for calling for back up... You start seeing lines getting longer get back up... it is so annoying to be in line for 25 mins. It's only then when the managers from upstairs look s down to see what's going on. Then he calls for back up .. Need to appreciate your customers, a lot are regulars... As I am... Been times I walked out and left my cart.The lines were bad... No cashiers in sight opening up registers.... So please read your comments and get your workers on the floor, when you see customers lining up to check out... floor sweeper can sweep later, goes for. Stockers, you have a night crew. If your store is high volume, then have your workers on deck... You'll see a big improvement in your daily figures...

This is a very nice store. I've been coming to Stater Brothers at this location, albeit an older store, for over 30 years and have never had a complaint or issue. Prices at Stater Brothers have risen considerably and they're not typically a affordable market anymore, however, the quality and selection are both top notch.

This was originally a 3 star rating. Last week when my mother purchased 2 bags of cookies, she was charged for 3. This is extremely problematic because at her advanced age and illness she no longer drives. So she had to wait for me to take her. The clerk could not see the underlined 3 items on last week's receipt. She kept pointing at the grapes. It was annoyingly weak. The clerks' helper did not ask us if we wanted bags. So when I told him that we do not want to buy bags & brought our own, he repacked everything in our bags. The reason I am changing my review to a one star rating is because my mother was charged 40 cents for the bags that she did not want or get (yesterday, July 21, 2022). Apparently your employees have zero communication skills. My mother is on a very fixed income. You need to fix this.

Go to this one instead of the one off Washington and Van Buren. It's practically brand new. And they have a full bakery section with much more options as far as hot foods go. My boyfriend and I always grab a rotisserie chicken, potatoes wedges, and sometimes a corn dog or two when we go for lunch after we get home and put our groceries up. Their staff is also generally more professional than the one off of Washington. I couldn't give them a full 5 stars though because I think they could improve on that a little more (less gossiping at the checkout counter), better cook some of their hot foods, and also expand their product versatility in certain areas a little more. But otherwise, a great store.
