Generally an excellent supermarket chain. Great selection, great prices. The stores tend to be a bit smaller then the nationwide chains. But we do most of our shopping there.

Tonight, my son and I went shopping, prior to heading up to my 84 year old dad's house for a visit, and to take dinner to him. We did not know the deli sold sandwiches. When we realized that, we decided we'd get some for dinner, for both us and my dad. A girl came out to assist us and she was very helpful. She explained everything to us, from bread options to sandwich toppings. She was extremely kind and friendly. After asking her, she told us her name was Jacqui M. We brought these sandwiches up to my dad and to say these sandwiches were fantastic is an understatement. They were out of this world. I wish I would've taken a photo because they looked like they were out of a magazine. My dad claimed they topped Subway and wants to have sandwiches from there again tomorrow. I think this has become my new go to Stater Bros. Thank you Jacqui M.!

Normally I'm a staters shopper and this, like all the other stores are pretty much alike. Today however was not a good day. Why in the world would you put Pepsi and 7up products up against each other, with signs on both that read get for $2.99 when you buy four. You really have to pay attention that one sign says Pepsi the other 7up. I think it's on purpose so people do what I did. Grab 2 Pepsi and 2 7up not even realizing it and then end up paying $4.99 for each. I got home only to realize I had been charged too much, went back and talked to the cashier who rang me up, and was told it was because I didn't get 4 from the same brand, kind of rudely. I asked for a manager and talk to her who looked like she didn't want to deal with me, agreed with me about the signs and the fact that both brands are stacked together, then gave me a refund for the difference without telling me what she was even doing. All in all no one was very professional, but I did get refunded even though I was willing to bring two of the four back in to exchange if I needed to. I'm going to chalk it up to a busy day not long before Christmas, and not just general bad moods or attitude. Stater bros is normally a good place to shop.
