Magnificent old Grand Hotel. Amazing lobby and overall architecture. Staff friendly and helpful. Didn't give it an overall 5 star because for such a plush hotel the linens lame. My first towel seemed to have been around since the hotel opened. Petty maybe but really out of place. Overall a wonderful, really cool place.

What a beautiful hotel! The perfect place for a wedding or elegant affair! Our room was modern, large, well appointed and very comfortable. So much history and more to come! We enjoyed both restaurants and our stay. Definitely check it out when in Syracuse!

Very historic hotel with comfy beds. When you enter the room for the first time and turn on the air, it smells kinda funky, but it goes away after the room has been ventilated. Not sure why only one shower door is able to slide because it’s an inconvenience to enter the shower and then to turn it on and wet yourself with freezing cold water! should have done a better constructing the showers. Staff is kind and helpful. Will be back!

Elegant, deserted hotel from a bygone era. Even with a conference or two, the place was empty, though the one open restaurant/bar was bustling and hosting trivia night. Housekeeping service seemed nonexistent during the stay. Clean, spacious rooms are renovated, with some original finishes like sculpted wooden doors, and modern bathrooms. The room was rather dimly lit, with windows looking on to a multistory parking garage.
